The plugin was working great until the other day. I tried to add a new member and the plugin wouldn't locate him (wolfgang). A couple days later I was adding another new member (locklin) and there was no problem. Today, I tried adding a new member (liveundead) and again, the person could not be found. I tried disabling all the other plugins and I still have the same problem.

I am having the same exact problem with  Icon Next To Members Name 1.1.0

These are two plugins that are very useful to me so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it's using the micro profile, then that's a bug on ProBoards end, which they are aware of and it should be fixed soon.
I reported it because the other day, I tried sending test accounts PM's but it would only find 1 of 3.

OK. Thanks for your reply. I had just noticed that the two members that I can't find have also not made any posts. I was thinking maybe that was the reason.

I originally thought that too, but it's not the case. I tested before I reported the bug, and made posts with them, still the same.

Maybe make it to where they can have a gradient or multi-colors in their name?

I too am having this very problem.
It cannot locate one member regardless of what browser, operating system or platform I used.

On a different note, I absolutely love the plug in and it is a major hit on my board.

If it matters, the member name is "robb" and the site is www.wristwatchforums.com

Having the same issue with not finding some members both are staff and have made posts, another one that I have noticed with the working colours is that in the profile view the names are standard forum colours, am I doing something wrong here...

love the plugin, think its great for groups such as admins ect.

It may be your computer Gibby. If you are on a mac it may be the culprit. Try another device or system and see it that will work.

It can, but I won't be doing it, as I want to focus on other plugins for now.  Feel free to ask in the request board, the code can be modified by other developers if they don't wish to start from scratch.

Hi Peter. Using this over on smangii.proboards.com/
This is really strange. I will say what has happened though, to try explain.

I added some colours in (just two) for 2 people. Myself, and Twigface (username: richard).
Both are pink, and both are bold. No custom CSS, just using the colour picker + bold check box.

All was fine, then I made a post, and my name and his name were no more the colours I had changed them to in the plugin.
If you refresh the page, they then showed fine. The same thing happens in the shoutbox. As soon as you make a shout, the names stop showing in teh colour I have set them. If I refresh the page, they show again. But again, if I make a shout, they stop again

All 3 of us are using Chrome - latest version.
Seems to work fine in the Info Center.

In the shoutbox, where it says "shouting as: NAME", my name constantly remains the colour it should be (from the plugin).
Latest Chrome for me.

Here's a little chatter about it, that may help a little more.

its pagination. its sorta the bane of many plugins right now. they are adding a way to latch onto page changes, but it wont be ready until next push

It's easy to do, I added support to most of my plugins that need it a while back, I did post how to do it. The function is in Yootil as well, which you can extract out if you wish.

Look at "after_search".

The trick is to check if what you want done has already been done (look at the init method for the calls, and add_mini_profile_avatars for the check).

yeah I have been using a method Eton showed me that seems to work well, but occasionally has to be changed because a push makes it stop working. Vinh said the next push will have actual support for pagination so hopefully it wont cause anymore rewrites.
