and please try and hurry to get me a copy without the ubbc button, i have hundreds of spoilers that have to be renamed, i want to get that done

I would also like non-alphanumeric characters in the title. My current spoiler name is "Spoiler Warning: Click at your own risk!" and I'd like to keep that if at all possible.

Secondly, does this work for pre-existing posts with the spoiler tags in? I have this thread and it's still showing the default PB version. All other plugins are disabled.

Version 1.2.2 in the first post can now use non alpha-numeric characters with the exception of square or curly brackets and single quotes (_[]{}') in the title, and curly brackets in the body.

Adding them to the title in the admin panel will break the code, so don't try.. If you try to use them in the posts, they will either be removed or replaced.

Unfortunately, no. The standard PB spoiler code strips the formatting I used in the old code, so you will have to edit your posts and re-add them. In the posting page you do the same as before

[spoiler=title][/spoiler]
when you submit the post the formatting will be changed to stop the PB code from stripping it out.

I might have misunderstood the "Default Title" but I thought it would change the "Spoiler: click to show" into what ever added in the default option but when i added "Secrets" in to the default field and then made a spoiler it ended out like this: SPOILER: Click to hide - Secrets - bladsef (underneath each other).

Is the default option ment to change the "spoiler" part or is it supose to work as it does and I totally misunderstood it? If so Sorry, My bad

Hmm.. No, it's meant to say 'Secrets', which would be clickable to show the spoiler beneath.

Ok, did some more testing in the public area on our board Here in 4 diffrent threads.
What I could see the Button for the spoilers are missing in the first post when you create a new thread but visable in the second thread and third and so on.
I can't see the smileys as "smileys" in a spoiler only see the characters in a broken pic box but that was just for testing if it works as you can see in the thread.
When you make a spoiler with a set color to it and then want to add more text after it the comming text will have the same color as the spoiler text and setting it back to black will make it messy as you also will see, well you will see what i did and commented it in the threads there...

Only managed to get the title wrong in the first one after that it worked as it should although in the second posts only since i couldn't even see the button in the first post in a new thread.

Want me to test more let me know and i will happily ablige

Edit: Just saw your post about an update so this might have fixed these issues so will DL and test the new version but you can still see what happend in the posts i made just recently.
Will wait til you had a chance to see my threads first incase installing the new one will alter them

Would it be possible (in the future, perhaps?) to be able to dictate the css on the title & body like in your old code?

edit: I tried putting "Spoiler Warning: Click at your own risk!" in the 'title' portion of the plugin section, but I'm still seeing the default PB styling. (second and third posts in this thread) I can add the title via =title in the UBBC itself (though if I want spaces I have to use the brackets or it won't work, not sure if intentional), but it doesn't seem to appear on its own.

You can now start changing the spoilers over, just edit the posts as before. When you submit the editted post the formats will be changed.

but todge, if i make changes to the spoilers, i havent downloaded the plugin because it has the ubbc button, im waiting for a copy without it, the changes dont take affect unless i have the plugin doesnt it

and if i make changes with the plugin in, if the plugin is ever taken out, will all the spoilers go back to nothing

Let me add my thanks to Todge! Used the Spoiler button I'd made for the v4 version of the Spoiler code and it works like a charm!
