Any progress with updating this to work with Eton's 'UBBC Buttons With Quick Reply'? support.proboards.com/post/5186746/threadI use both plugins all the time and all that is missing is the Spoiler Tag icon on the Quick Reply bar!

Thanks a ton for this! I would suggest making the text that opens the spoiler be an actual button, with an outline and all that. Or maybe I'm just being ignorant and missing a totally obvious way to do this.

Hey Todge! The plugin was working fine up until recently, but now it looks like every spoiler that had a title is not displaying that title in the finished post—I think it's ignoring the plugin entirely and just treating them like the standard spoiler. I don't think I've changed anything recently that should've affected it, but just in case I've disabled all my other plugins with no result. I'm not sure if it's my board, the plugin, or maybe whatever changes ProBoards recently made to the editor that have snarled up some other plugins, but in case it's on my end you can see a thread that's supposed to have titled spoilers here. You should be able to register an account and post to test for yourself if necessary. Also, may I ask why it's required to choose a single style for the link color and the resulting spoiler div in the settings? If you're using multiple themes then that means whatever you may pick is going to look identical in each theme, rather than matching the link color et al in those themes the way the standard spoiler would. Is there a way it can just use the user's current theme's default spoiler styling, or is that not feasible with the way it's currently set up?

This code is next on my list for a major overhaul. No idea why it should stop working for you K Phoenix.. The spoiler names don't even appear to be in your posts. tunescool, if you are getting the Ajax errors with this plugin, stick to the UBBC side of the posting page.

Hm. If it helps, I just edited that last post so the spoiler syntax looked like [spoiler]{test title}content[/spoiler], and at that point it showed up when I saved the post. When I went to edit the post again, however, it reconverted itself into the [spoiler=test title]content[/spoiler] format and went back to not working when I saved the post again. As it stands now the post is using [spoiler]{test title}content[/spoiler] again, but I imagine editing it will break it a second time.
Good to hear about the update, too!

tunescool, if you are getting the Ajax errors with this plugin, stick to the UBBC side of the posting page. i need it to work anywhere todge, i dont want this message coming up on my forum forever You said it right there. If you disable that plugin it solves your problem. Disable the plugin. It is not a ProBoards problem, it is a problem with that plugin. Ask the plugin author to fix their plugin.

I'm well aware of that tunescool, you'll just have to be patient and wait until I can get it fixed. You will either have to disable it like Patrick said, or stick to the UBBC side of the editor for now.

BUG!
OK this plugin makes the text editor in the reply boxes BBCode by default, even if the settings in your profile are Visual BY DEFAULT.
