Chrome is the best browser available today without question, so good choice. It did take a while for many of the plugins and features that FireFox had to become supported on Chrome, but it is definitely the superior browser now.

Love this plugin fyi

9 refreshes out of 10, it loads one banner, then quickly switches to another. Typically it loads the regular banner first, then switches but not always

Any way to correct this?

Is there a way to have it not "tile" the pic? Just show the banner gif?

Good Afternoon, Jordan! 

I had installed your random banner plugin on my test site a few days ago, but cannot get it to work. Both myself [Google Chrome] and my co-administrator [Firefox] have refreshed the page numerous times - in succession and throughout the day - yet it remains static. The plugin has been enabled and five different URLs are uploaded into it which confuses us as to why it is not working. The coding on my website has me change the banner by going to Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper before editing the URL here:

Name of Forum: Game of Thrones Role Play

Type: Random Banner (alteration for a forum with a hover banner)

Effect: There is a Plugin called 'Random Banner' that basically allows you to link a bunch of different banners and whenever you refresh the page, the Banner randomly changes to one of those that you have linked. I tried using this on a forum where I'm using the Skin: Blue Inked Parchment (created by Margie), but it didn't work, and I think it may be because there's a Banner Hover.

Design:I would like to keep the Banner Hover, and I don't think Margie would appreciate that being changed regardless (which I wouldn't even want that to happen). So if this isn't at all possible or if it's too much work to keep the Banner Hover while adding Random Banner, then that's fine.

Plugins: Yootil Library, Monetary System, Gold Shop, Presto Box, Highlightable Code, Back to Top, Word Counter, Peekaboo SideTable Right Bsc, Spoiler Tags and Random Banner (if this Plugin is needed to make this work)

Deadline:Absolutely none. I appreciate anyone taking the time to do this for me, so I wouldn't mind waiting however long it would take.

Other:I asked Margie to do this, and she was sweet enough to try but said that it wouldn't be as easy as she had thought/would take longer so I told her not to worry about doing it then. I would really, really love to have this. It's a Game of Thrones forum, and having Random Banners change whenever it's refreshed would be really great as there are a lot of Characters/Houses in that fandom that I would love to show - however, if this is too difficult or takes too long and nobody feels like doing it, I completely understand. I don't want anyone to have to stress over this, I'm a stranger to most of you, after all. If you are willing to do this, I would be beyond grateful to you!! <3

So for the banner hover, I've got the banner coded in as a background image in the forum wrapper. See:

I worried about this a little bit when I first did this because of plugins that might need to find the banner but I didn't worry too much and didn't try to find another way to do it because this skin was still a request at that stage. Basically, that there is the whole problem. The banner isn't the banner, it's just a background image put into the forum wrapper. I have no idea how to fix the banner hover so it uses the actual banner (the one you put in the visual editor and the one that will be seen by the bloody plugin) for the background image. So yeah, there's an insight into what's wrong.

Not trying to cause problems, but really wanted to revive this Topic, and suggest submitting this plugin to the library.

I was searching for this for what seemed like ages, and finally discovered it yesterday, and it works perfectly!
