I already had my name and two others added and saved. So I deleted the three and saved then re added and saved and .... it still doesn't work.
I edited a post after doing the above and it still shows the post was edited.

Sorry I can't help you find a fix frm - is it just your name that shows up or do all staff edits show?

I've checked with the others and it is happening with them also.

Update: I've uninstalled the plugin until such times there may be a fix for this problem.

Strange it's working OK on my forum and not yours frm - I wonder if it's clashing with another plugin…. Have you tried just having this plugin enabled and the rest disabled by any chance?

Hey frm. When you added the actual name you use on your forum, did you click on the box that generates at the bottom where you typed it. Because I was adding my name and saving it and it wouldn't work, till I clicked on the actual box that popped up. I have a pic below with a red arrow showing the box I'm talking about.

I have a couple problems... I thought this was working for me (hiding my edits as the staff member I added to the plugin settings)... but as you can see in this thread, I edited the first post (to change the title) & as you can see it doesn't show the Last Edit there, but I edited Julia's post (currently 2nd one from the bottom) & it shows the Last Edit there.

The next one is, I added "Back To Top" arrows on each post using the code here, which puts the arrow in the Last Edit <div> & therefore when it hides my edits, it hides that arrow too. I tried putting the code for the arrow outside of that <div>, but it wouldn't display the arrow then.

Do you Brian Ordonez or  Thesealion or anyone else have any suggestions for a fix for these 2 issues?

Also, I was wondering... with this Hidden Staff Edits plugin, it hides my edits on other members posts, but I saw that (at least sometimes) it doesn't hide it when I edit my own posts... I didn't know if this was the same glitch as my first issue mentioned here, or that was the way it's supposed to work. I'm hoping that's how it's supposed to work, because I'd like it to show when I edit my own posts, just not when I edit others'.

Hi Rita and Escape

Hi Rita it doesn't clashing with another plugin, (as far as I can see and it does seem that I'm right) according to Laurens post the hidden edit plugin is picking up anything that is in line where 'back to the top' in words or the 'back to the top arrow' which will be in and around the same location.

Hi Escape, yes I've made sure everything that was supposed to be ticked was. Uninstalled the plug in and re installed and still same problem.

I don't have a back to the top arrow I use words instead as they look a lot tidier.

I don't think I'll be reinstalling the plugin as my Global Mod and myself now feel it's best to allow the members to see that certain phrases / words / comments will be edited and so will be a learning exercise for them.

This has just stopped working on both my main forum and my beta forum, I've tried the fixes mentioned (beta forum) it seemed to work for a few seconds, then edit appeared again?

Is this getting looked into? great plug-in when it's working!
