Peter, It seems the snow causes the scroll bar on the right to go wacky when you are scrolled about halfway down the page. Any chance this is fixable?

On your forum, I do see the shaky scrollbar, but I can't replicate it on a vanilla forum. I think something on your forum is causing a conflict with the snow plugin. This could be another plugin, or maybe some CSS that was added?

Peter, quite possible. I have quite a bit of custom stuff that I have implemented.

The shaky scroll bar isn't going to ruin my day, so probably not worth the time to go through a ton of code to figure it out.

- Updated code which now uses requestAnimationFrame, so should be a little better for performance.

Peter, I just added this to my test forum. It seems I, as Admin, don't have the button in the PB toolbar to turn the snow on and off. But my non-staff accounts there do. Is this by design? Not a big deal... just curious.

Thanks.  But I don't think that is the issue with me as I don't have a custom theme and we don't ever change themes.  It appears to me that Staff can't see the icon in the PB toolbar, but regular members can. Is that how it is supposed to work, Peter ?  It isn't a big deal, because I doubt anyone on staff will want to turn it off for the personal viewing.  I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something wrong before I turn it loose on my actual forums.

Definitely something wrong if you can't see it.

I just tested on a test forum, and it's showing up fine for me.

Do you have any other plugin that is adding any icon to the ProBoards Bar (as it could be cut off, if so adjusting the width of the bar will solve it)?
Do you have a public forum I can access that has this issue?

Yes, I am running the Scavenger Hunt game right now so it puts an icon in the toolbar. That definitely would explain it. Because I have test members who see it, but that's because they haven't reached enough prizes to get a Helper in the toolbar.

So because the plugins have to really run at the same time, I just won't tell people about the ability to turn it on and off. I think all of them will live with that just fine. Thanks!

Okay! I do want to attempt to fix it. But keep in mind I am really not all that up on this stuff. Can someone walk me through how I would get to the global header, and where exactly would I paste that code Brian talked about?

Goto: Admin -> Structure -> Headers & Footers.

Click on "Global Header & Footer".

This will then show a few big boxes. Paste the code into the top one called "Header".
