Rate Threads 0.3.0 [Updated: 08/05/2013]

Whether the rating is within the thread or not, it's the same feature. The only difference is, if not within the thread, the members have to exercise some energy and click out of the thread and rate it. I really don't see the big deal. The plugin is awesome and thank you very much for creating it, Peter! Your hard work is appreciated =)

I know you're taking a break, Peter, so no pressure to respond right now, but I was hoping to add your plugin but found it's not working on my forum. I think it's because I rather drastically modified the Thread List template and style sheet CSS... I have it currently enabled and on my forum but nothing showing up, this is a live example of my current Thread List. Whenever you get the chance, would you mind helping me attempt to fix the problem? If my Thread List template/style sheet is simply too modified to accommodate the plugin, that's alright, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Thank you! ^^

Hey Peter any new update on this plugin. Installed it to one of my forums, rchelitalk.proboards.com/ and it does not show

Fixed it Yootil was not the latest version, updated that and all is good now

This rating system would be so ideal for what I have in mind, however only if I can apply the plugin only to certain categories/boards - I would rather not have it site-wide. Can I also choose an image for when there's not ratings rather than 5 faded out stars? So I can add an image with text that might say "not rated yet" or something.

Lovely plugin - I hope I can use it, if I can get ratings to only function in certain places.

Oh this is exactly the type of plugin I've been looking for. However my purposes for using it, isn't exactly suited by its current design. I would love to see more customization behind the scenes. I run a pop culture forum, and my members love to rate things. I would love if there was a way to do two things:

1.) limit it only to certain boards, so that I can have them rate threads, as if they were films, albums, etc. But not have it apply to random discussion threads, etc.
2.) be able to change the scale itself, possibly to stars, or even better yet to a letter grade. My members are used to grading things on a letter scale (A, A-, B+, B, B-, etc.) so it would be very neat and tidy if something like this could take the average of the grades assigned and come up with a community average.

There are other ideas I had in mind, but naturally I don't want to be greedy. But please count this as another person desperately wishing something like this would be updated.

Like Water Crystals said - would it be possible if the plugin would be limited to a single board/allow moderators to change what boards the rating system shows up in? ^^

I am also experiencing the same problem that ₪» ⅀ ƪ Ƒ «₪ is - I think the theme I have on my site has too much coding, so it overrides the plugin and the ratings feature simply doesn't show up.

It's possible, but right now with limited time I'm focusing on some features for the Monetary System. Maybe once those are released I will revisit this.

I have it set for EVERYONE, for some reason I think only members and staff can add ratings

I'm not sure if it's another setting conflicting with it, but this is a really great plugin if it can work.

Really would like it so even guests can rate if possible?

Sorry, not possible for guests, as it relies on storing the user id.
