I wonder if it is possible, to add a feature that can restrict certain members from making posts, unless its been approved by an moderator. Like a "watch list" to where if a member just got back from having his account suspended, and moderators want to watch his posts, they would be able to approve/disapprove that selected users post if needed to.

This could be really useful and stop spam thread/post.

Also to add to this, make it so we can set ti so certain ranks have to have their thread/post approved, and can be done so on a per board basis.

We will take these ideas into consideration. Many of them are getting to be far too complex to apply and use though.
Honestly here at ProBoards we are strong proponents of a positive forum environment. The ideas listed in this thread are very much the antithesis of that. These are all very big brother features. If you can't trust your members to post then maybe they shouldn't be members. We provide many tools to warn and manage your members. For now we will stick to those. But we will review the ideas above at a later date. Thank you.

Helps prevent people making spam topics though, because if you set it so new members have to await for a thread/post approval, they can't go on some spamming spree, or if they do, it bothers none of the members because they are unable to see them.

Just to counter point, I would never stay a member on a forum where I click Post and then it takes possibly days for my reply to appear simply because I'm a new member. I would say 'so long' and never come back. Additionally if this was a form of punishment I personally, would also leave. As an admin I can't imagine proofreading every post before allowing it to be submitted (assuming its the rank based feature). Most admins want to encourage growth and communication. Even as a punishment tool this seems a bit much. Either the person deserves to not be a member or they deserve a warning and a chance to continue in the community.
Just my 2 cents.
