Notification of new member

 Near as I can tell, the only notification that a member is awaiting approval is the addition of a new item under Manage Members\Search Members.
This requires constant checking to avoid keeping a new member waiting for approval.

Suggest auto-email to admin or Cc Admin on new member mail(s).

Profile > notification settings there's an option to set 'when a new member joins' plus the one for approvals

I'm not seeing anything about this either in Admin\Profile or General Settings\Forum Preferences.
Scanned the Administration Area, too. Not sure where else it might be.

OK, follow my steps
Profile > Edit profile > Notificarions
You should have a list of what preferences you want to be notified for, most preferences can be set to forum and/or email
Each member would have to set their preferences (only staff would have staff options)

I selected [Profile]
then selected Modify Profile from:

Member's Bio - Modify Profile - Bookmarks - Social Networks

looked for Notifications. Hmmm. Nothing.

and got: 404 Not Found

And ok, that board is a V4.5, you won't get that option until at least the transition period, which is hoped to be the end of the year if all goes well, though you could check out betazone, which is what this area is all about
