branka , That's because you have removed the replacement variables from the text. The code can't find them to replace them with the values. Thank you peter ?

1.5.5 is available in the library.
Previous version code was out of date and had a bug in it.

Thank you! It took me a lil bit of digging but the ease of installation is great. In case people are lost its under plugins, manage, then at the bottom link.

I set it pretty close to the start date but it might be off by a few mobths Hi darrenvoxTo set the start date accurately to your forum, view the user profile for the user/1 account. Look for the date registered. That corresponds to the exact date when the forum was created.

Can someone explain why this plugin would be useful? I'm not dismissing it. It's just that with my limited imagination and experience as a forum admin, I'm not seeing the value.
I put this in the category of "Stat plugins" -- plugins that give you stats about your forum and display them in a convenient location where you want. As an example, take the "Likes" counter. This is actually not a plugin but some code you can enter, but this is the only thing that popped into my head right now. I somehow see the value of displaying the number of "Likes" for each forum user in their profile and mini-profile, but I don't see the value of displaying the age of a forum.
If someone could educate me on this, I would appreciate it. I'm ignorant.
Thanks!

That output is correct for what you have done. {years} is the number, not text.

It's like I said in my previous post. You need to use the replacements correctly.
{years} is a number, not the text "years".
Example:
My forum was created {years} year{years_plural} ago.
