Hi again Todge ,
Since we are using the nonlinear mode, when I click on the Gallery notification name, it takes me to the page containing the image that was commented on.

Because there are several images on the page it is still difficult to discover which one the notification was made on. I was wondering if, in addition to the member name that left the comment, it would be possible to include the first 16 characters or so of the image title?

Hi Todge,

I am looking forward to the highlighting feature, but in the mean time I encountered what I think is a bug in the new comment notification plugin.

When I enter a comment on an image in a member gallery all works as intended.  However, when I try to enter a comment on a second image in the same gallery I get this error popup:

The highlighting feature has already been added.. Unfortunately I put the wrong link in my post above...

You need to update the Member Gallery Plugin, not the notification plugin that I linked you too... Sorry. It should also fix the issue you mentioned now too..

Hm, I grabbed the version linked to in the above post and installed it, but I am not seeing the highlighting, and the error popup is still there. In the about box it says 3.1.0 Beta

What now?

BTW, what is the highlight supposed to look like? The field of the gallery page is white on our forum:

The member Gallery should be version 3.1.1.. If you have 3.1.0 installed you won't get the highlight. And the highlight is a border around the image that has been commented on.. You'll know it when you see it.

Thanks Todge.  This one installed as v3.1.1.  I made comments on 2 gallery posts (no error popup), then logged in under the owner name and saw the notification bubble with a 2.  When I clicked it and the name in the list, I was taken to the page with the image.  However, I still do not see any highlighting.  what could be causing that?
