wormer anything that has pages the screenname isnt working past page 1 for me



but the sub boards it does, could it be because of something i added in my css or templates

yeah that is a known bug for all plugins. when you go to a next page, it doesnt reload the page, so no plugins that affect the new content can run. it cant be fixed until PB puts out the fix that gives the ability to attach an event to new pages.

I will add in the event handler when it gets released from PB

wormer i think the new like thing and colorsmear dont work well together. i moved mine but it still loses color where pbs has it. it works at times, it seems if you reload the page it comes back and theres been times where the likes disappear, i woulnt know if it would be colorsmear related but just mentioning it

Hi, the plugin has downloaded to v5 I can even put in colors, but it won't find any members names? It says no results found that goes for several members I have tried, it can't even find me the admin! Must be something wrong somewhere? I have now taken it out dissapointed as I currently have this working on a code from you in my current v4.5 forum   queenant.proboards.com/index.cgi

Are you using the display name as it says? It sounds like you're using the user name instead.

i have tried both just won,t recognise members at all, so i have now given up as it doesn,t even color the board names correct either just puts a load of letters either side of the title color smeared, but then leavesthe title original color.

I'm sure that Wormopolis will try to help you figure it out when he's around next. I use this one on one of my beta boards and haven't had any problems thus far.

@jenant Im seeing all sorts of member names being smeared. what browser are you using?

which board did you put the smear on?

I cant replicate this, but I also havent moved where it lists the "likes".  did you do this ion templates or use a plugin?

i moved it back, this was rite after i liked the post, screenname is back and then after you reload it goes back to colorsmear



i couldnt get it to not work again or not appear like it does where i have it, i thought it did before, or maybe i just jumped the gun because it wasnt colored

ok that would make sense then. colorsmear only runs on the page load. if you like the post, it THEN adds a name onto the page. colorsmear doesnt run AFTER that. there isnt an event I could latch on for that. when you reload the page, the data is already there and colorsmear can see it then.

you did the right thing.  it had been pushed down really far in my participated list.

  You are looking at my v4.5! forum that is currently smeared with your old code.

It is my V5 Beta jenant.freemessageboards.com/   that it won't come up with display names  says "no results found" after ie whirly spun for a few seconds I even tried it on my Android and it did the same. Yet the box is there for names to be typed in but can't find name. I use IE7.

wormer should the The This. part of the likes even be part of colorsmear, shouldnt the names just be colorsmeared and then the text be itself
