Hi, how do you guys thinking about a Reputation system in V5? This has been discussed so many times, and the conclusion has always been that the "like system" will take over, because it only has a positive to it. By that I mean, you can't make someone go negative (I.E with Karma you could +rep or -rep people), which causes a lot of arguments on forums because people use it in a bad sense (I know not everyone does). This way you can either like a post or not, and by not liking a post doesn't impact what other people may think of you - people look at karma for example, and if someone has minus, they may think that person is untrustworthy. When in actual fact, it's just some person with some vendetta causing trouble and negatively repping the individual. |
