My forum issue with popup every thread load still exists. A mod told me it happens in desktop mode (which I stay in) if that helps.

Our forum dodgerslist.boards.net is still having issues with awards not appearing in the mini-profile since the live change yesterday. Awards will appear in the profile for members, however NO awards appear for any member in the mini-profile. We are using Award System 3.0. I would like to suggest an addition to the Award System plug-in. That is to explain how to find a group number. I had to ask and Brian Ordonez replied: "Group numbers can be found in the Groups tab of a user's profile. Hover your mouse over any of the groups listed there. The URL preview that shows in your browser contains group=, followed by a number. That number is that group's numerical ID." Thank you for your help.

Can you post a link to a member's profile that has awards, so I can take a look please... I have tested it on my test forum and all seems to be working...

"If you'd like the awards to appear in a certain place in the mini-profiles, or if you are having problems getting them to appear, add '<div class="awards $[user.id] $[user.name]"></div>' to your mini-profiles' in the template."
Try putting <div class="awards $[user.id] $[user.name]"></div> into your mini-profile template..

Just wanted to say this is not an isolated instance. I have not modified the profile view. Setting to pop up works fine Setting to list does not.

Try putting <div class="awards $[user.id] $[user.name]"></div> into your mini-profile template.. I'm no coder....so where (before what or after what) in the mini-file template should that code go? Am I supposed to edit [user.id] and [user.name] to something. OR just add exactly what you wrote as is?

My forum issue with popup every thread load still exists. A mod told me it happens in desktop mode (which I stay in) if that helps. Are you still having this issue? So far it's working correctly.. I had turned off notifications to stop the blank popup from occurring every time a thread is opened.. I noticed awards were back in mini profile showing in threads so turned notifications back on. I made no other changes and it seems to be fixed

Am I supposed to edit [user.id] and [user.name] to something. OR just add exactly what you wrote as is? Just copy and paste the code exactly as it is into your mini-profile template. Where, is pretty much up to you. If you'd like the awards to be displayed at the bottom of the mini-profile, place directly before the last line of the mini-profile template.

And I hate to sound too ignorant but I can't even remember how to get to the mini profile template. Like the previous poster I am no coder and once I got the forum set up I was satisfied. I have since forgotten how to find particular parts and the mini profile template seems to be one of them. Once there I will be fine but getting to the right area is my current problem. Yes, I did poke around but to no avail. I would prefer to have the awards image in their profile over the popup.
Would you mind providing some direction on exactly how to get to the mini profile template? Or will the plugin eventually be updated to utilize the "list" check box as intended?
Thanks, This is a great plugin concept and exactly what we need in our forum.

Hi Termitehunter, hope this will help you out. The pathway to the mini-file is: Admin > Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile I chose to have the awards under the avatar, so I placed the code Todge gave at line#30 -- at the bottom right before the very last line #31 26 {/foreach} 27 {if $[user.is_online]}<br /><span class="italic">Member is Online</span>{/if} 28 </div><br /> 29 {/if} 30 <div class="awards $[user.id] $[user.name]"></div> 31 </div> The awards then look like this. In our Forum's case we changed the Award's name to "Current Treatments"

I'm trying to get the awards system plug in to work with my theme and I cannot figure it out! Can someone pretty please help me!? My site: wall.freeforums.net/Theme: sunkissedtheme.boards.net/It's supposed to show up as a hover over the image in the 3rd tab of the mini profile and I cannot, for the life of me, figure it out! -begs-
