I've never used the Forum Tooltip Plugin, but you should be able to target the awards tooltips with.. .awdDiv>img I might be mistaken, but I have memory of this working before on the popup window for the awards... I had posted in the tooltip plugin just in case... but I think it must be that I'm not targeting something properly because it works just fine in the profiles. It's only in the popup where it doesn't trigger. I tried the above and still no go. I'll continue fiddling, but I was curious if I could just display the awards description instead? To make it something like this in the pop-up? I do think the description is only available in title="", right? If it was target-able by a class I could code it in there. It's probably because the pop-ups are created as and when you click the award link in the mini-profile. I have an 'add-on' plugin than will allow you to have styled tooltips for the awards if you have no luck getting your current plugin to work.

I even tried looking in your list of plugins and couldn't seem to find it.

It's an on-going project and is doubtful I'd release it before V6 is live anyhow, but you are welcome to try it.. Awards Add-OnClicking the option to 'Replace default tooltip' will essentially give the awards the class-name 'AWD_Tooltip' which should be 'target-able' by any other plugin.

I appreciate the help Todge, thank you so much. ^^

TodgeI assume you wouldn't be open to this addition, assuming you are at all, until V6, but I figured I will at least ask currently - I use your awards plugin as an item inventory system for my RPG. If they earn an item, it goes in their inventory-- their awards. However, there's an issue between items and applied items. For example, they might purchase Power Level 1 and therefore it's added to their inventory, but they might not actually want to activate/apply that item. They may wish to hold onto it for a month and then sell it to someone. As it is, there's no way for me to differentiate if an item is applied or not. It has caused some issue with trying to figure out solutions. So far the solutions have been an ungodly amount of custom profile fields being added and it's difficult for people to figure out because it's out-of-sight-out-of-mind in their profiles instead of in their mini-profiles with the rest of the lovely inventory. Since there are so many items, there's simply no way to currently organize 2 separate "inventories" nicely. So my question is: is there any way to create a separate container for the awards so there are 2 versions? So that one, the default one we currently have, is inventory, and a 2nd version can hold the items that are actually applied/activated? It doesn't have to be super fancy if there is any sort of simple or easy solution you could fiddle with.. I don't know how such things work. In case it's relevant, a reminder that my site Alcryst uses a unique plugin version because the previous ones broke on my site - although I forget if your latest updates fixed that for my site or not. Obviously, I understand if you don't want to make any mods considering V6 and also I have no idea what the scope of this would be so it could be more difficult than I hope. This and the monetary plugin are the 2 most important plugins on my site so either way I'm really grateful to have access to what I do with this :) Thank you!

Their 'may' be an easy fix, depending on if the latest version of the plugin works on your site. I assume you still have a copy of your current Awards Plugin?? if so, try updating to version 3.0.1 from the library and see if that works on your forum.. If it does you can already use 2 sets of awards... Let me know one way the other and I'll show you how if you can.

TodgeMy current awards system plugin says version 2.8.3 I am trying out 3.0.1 now After adding going through the settings, adding some images, and playing with a test account, I can say 3.0.1 appears to function completely normal! I haven't found any issues or errors. Wow! The only thing I've noticed out of everything is that you previously gave me a code that would let me insert certain words that appeared ONLY if the user had no items. In this case, I had it say "No Items." Now the No Items text shows the whole time, even if they do have items. Is there any way to go back to the original purpose? Not a huge deal if not, I'm just happy right now to have a functioning latest version and not have to worry about bothering you for special versions anymore! Ahhh this is so exciting! And I can't even believe how much easier it is going to be now to add/edit awards since you scrapped the old way, this is 100x better. Next, may I ask how I would go about getting a duplicate awards section? My current plan is that Applied Items will be the list format and Inventory will now be a pop-up, if that is possible. If not, both as a list also works for me. ^^ Thank you for your response and helping me figure out how to do this, it is going to make coding, appearance appealingness, and general ease SO much nicer for both me and members. =D

So far so good.. First, try version 3.0.2, you should now have an option to leave a message in the mini-profiles if they have no awards.

Alright, I've fiddled and fiddled and can't get it to work. I have "No Items" in the "No Awards" field in plugin settings. The title Inventory is still showing and items show up if I add them, so the rest is still working, but at the moment if there aren't any items then it's simply just the header Inventory on its own.
Also, I'll add that I am inserting the awards into my mini-profile with
<div class="awards" style="font-variant:small-caps; letter-spacing:2px; padding-left: 2px; font-size:12px; font-family: georgia; font-weight: bold; color: #2d2821; text-align: center; text-transform:uppercase; max-height: 150px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: auto;" title="Read more information on their applied items by clicking their name in the mini-profile to navigate to their profile"</div>
And when I changed the class to
<div class="awards $[user.id] $[user.name]"></div> instead of just "awards" it actually removed the title (though it appears items stayed). So if I change the class to that, it removes the title, keeps the items, and if someone doesn't have items then it's just entirely blank. I wanted to ensure the class name wasn't the fix so I gave it a try which is how I learned that, so figured I'd pass it along.

You have missed the closing '>' of the opening div tag in your example, though your browser may correct this.. Also, because you are missing the ' $[user.id] $[user.name]' the plugin will ignore your awards tag and revert to the default settings (which I forgot to update), so, you can use your original awards cell, but it should be... <div class="awards $[user.id] $[user.name]" style="font-variant:small-caps; letter-spacing:2px; padding-left: 2px; font-size:12px; font-family: georgia; font-weight: bold; color: #2d2821; text-align: center; text-transform:uppercase; max-height: 150px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: auto;" title="Read more information on their applied items by clicking their name in the mini-profile to navigate to their profile"></div>
