Hi, not sure if it's just me or not, or if something's going screwy--but on my board this morning (in Safari and FF), most of my Awards images aren't showing up. In FF, they don't show up at all. In Safari, they show up in the [?] boxes. I haven't touched the plugin since I installed it, and it's been working perfectly since. Just looking to see if it's happening for other people. What's weird is, different awards are showing up on both browsers. My account "Host Amy" should have 7 awards displaying in the mini profile. FF shows only 2, and Safari shows 3. www.slayerettes.boards.netThank you in advance! I'm hoping it's just a temporary glitch. It sounds like its your image host. If for some reason the award images can't be shown because the host can't be contacted, then you'll get a generic symbol, like a question mark, or a box with an X in it etc., the reason some images show is probably because they have been cached by the browser, so those images are available without the need of the image host. Give it a day or so and you'll probably find they'll all come back.

Hey Todge, I noticed an issue with this, where in the recent threads page, on pagination it throws an error, any hope for a fix? I got the error in chrome and safari.

I think what you see is a badge, if you go to a member's profile, then go to the gift tab, you can purchase badges for people. It a nice way to say 'Hey, thank you for the help'.

The code works fine for me with Safari, and I don't use Chrome. Could you be a little more specific with the error you're receiving please?

When going through pages in the recent threads page, and you try going to a new page, it comes up with "There are some AJAX processes still going, etc." And it's only coming up for me in Safari and Chrome. And with the awards plugin disabled, it doesn't do that.

And with the awards plugin disabled, it doesn't do that. As the problem is with AJAX, and not JavaScript, and the fact that it seems specific to your forum, I'd say it's having trouble reading the key for some reason. While that is related to the plugin (obviously), it's not actually being caused by the plugin. Does this only happen to you? Or does it also happen with other users? If the problem persists, I'd say ask one of the red peeps that float around here keeping an eye on us all.

The Base Folder is the address of your awards up to, and including the last '/' character.
For this to work, all your awards must be in the same folder. You can leave it blank if you wish, and put the complete URLs of your award images in the box instead.
The awards must not be on a secure site. In other words, the URL MUST start with 'http', not 'https', otherwise they can't be 'hotlinked'.
The Awards Descriptions box is where you put the award titles, and a short description of each. The format is..
Title|Description
Use the pipe (|) character to separate each title from it's description. List a Title|Description for each award.
Those are the three inputs that can stop the code from working. Get them right and the code 'should' work, no matter how you set the rest.
If you are still having problems, can you please leave a link to your forum.
Thank you.

Is the plugin still on your site, and is it activated?
I can see the key has been intialized, but I can't see the plugin at all.

TinMachine, the awards are saved in a 'key', nothing is saved in your profile fields with this plugin, so no, removing the plugin will not leave anything in the mini-profiles of your members. toetapping, could you take a screen-grab of the setting page in the awards plugin please, so I can see exactly how things are edited. Also, try moving it to the top of the list and see if that works.
