support.proboards.com/thread/435244/member-galleries?page=8Hey there, interrupting this thread with an update regarding the member gallery plugin by Todge. For some reason the custom template which i had on my first links and linking back boards, was stopping posts from being submitted forum wide while both plugins were enabled. Todge suggested i disable the custom template plugin and it resolved the issue, however i am now left without the custom template and would like it to work with the member gallery plugin. Could you perhaps look into this issue and try to find a solution for me, because guests are too eager to post without submitting the correct information in my ads boards and its driving me nuts >.< delusional.freeforums.net is my forum and the custom template plugin is disabled right now. Let me know if you want me to enable it again or update it or whatever. thanks.

So I will need to know what browser you are using and I will need you to reenable this plugin.

sure thing, i'm using chrome and have many other plugins on my forum. Perhaps it would be quicker/easier if i set up a dummy staff account for you on my forum?

I got on your forum, and I posted just fine. Are there specific boards that aren't allowing you to post?

I am so confused right now, a member has just experienced the same problem i was originally getting and she uses chrome. I am able to edit posts and create posts anywhere on the forum, while she cannot. She added her images for her gallery before i added the member gallery plugin, but since enabling the custom template plugin again (this time round) she cannot edit her post. Nor could i.
So i moved the thread to the trash (archives area) and asked her to create a new gallery then to try and post somewhere else on the forum, hoping that her problems are now resolved.
This probably doesn't make an ounce of sense to you and for that i'm sorry, but i don't know how to explain what happens other than originally it was blocking from posting on the forum and blocking from editing posts.

Todge and Shorty my forum or rather the one member is still having issues with posting in the gallery. Same as I received when i originally installed both plugins. There was no post input area after clicking create gallery. Could you both stop by my forum and read what was said in the cbox? I have asked her to close the browser originally, but the problem remained. Now i have asked her to clear her cache. She say's she's using chrome, what version i do not know. But i am also using chrome and not getting any issues with either the submissions boards or gallery boards. So i am well confused. what can you both suggest to aliciaKitty? there is an admin account open for both of you to use. Shorty has the info and sorry once again to keep on at you both, but its got me stumped.

I have experienced a problem with this plugin. Users attempting to submit posts receive the error "You must provide a message" despite entering something in all text fields.
I had this plugin active on four boards on my forum, and set only to apply to new threads. At first it only affected a few specific users on those four boards, who were on multiple different browsers and experiencing the same result.
Recently however the issue began to affect other boards where the plugin was not supposed to be enabled, and was reported by a much proportion of users of my forum. I have been forced to disable the plugin entirely, which appears to have fixed the problems.
I really liked this plugin; it was a great way to prevent people from submitting enormous, un-formatted walls-of-text for my admins to sift through for the useful information. I would really appreciate a fix/some help. The only other plugin installed on my forum is "smilie dropdown" which is disabled.
An unrelated question: Is it possible to include line breaks in the template in some way? I want to put blank lines between different sections of input to make it easier to read.

Are you still encountering this problem? I believe the issue should be resolved. It was a proboards issue, not a my code issue.
