Ooo, Awesome, it works great in chrome. Its even saving the info in Safari.

Safari was a crapshoot, but since it uses the same engine (basically) as chrome I had a good chance.

miscommunication with the group I was with. I wanted to sleep in and they wanted to get breakfast. so I told them to come back to the hotel when they were done. I meant with breakfast.. they thought I meant the whole morning.. which means they went to shoot machine guns without me. so I busted out the laptop and worked on codes some more while I waited for lunch.

This code does not work on my page - I have seen the function one time, and when I updated it dissapeared again.. When I try to save my status the page ask if I want to close or stay on the page.. I choose close/leave and it seems to be saved, how ever nothing appers?

Hey Wormopolis, this isn't working right for me... I installed the plugin, added the keys (is that what they're called?) for "Married", "Single", etc, and then went to edit my profile... when I tried to save my profile changes, it wouldn't save. I'm using Chrome.

Also, I made it so there was a drop-down box for the status (Married, Single, In a Relationship, etc) with a text box next to it... so I'm wondering:

(1) if it's possible if this text could somehow appear in the profile as "Married to" or "In a relationship with" when you add a person's name in the text box, but stay just "Married" or "In a Relationship" if you don't

(2) and if the text box could work like the User Link search box, where if you started typing in someone's name who also has an account on the forum, you could select it (as the User Link search box would be easier for members instead of having to know the username). And if that wasn't possible, if the text box could at least link to a user's name if you add the @ sign.

there were some changes made that broke my plugin. Im working on it.

as for the 2 questions:
1) just make options that say "Married" that DONT have text additions to them
2) Im nowhere skilled enough to add an ajax name search to a plugin, nor am I sure that is even allowed.

1) True, I didn't think of just adding options such as "Married" and "Married to", that works.
2) That's ok, is it possible to make it so that if I put @username, it'll tag the person at least? And if it's allowed, does VS Admin/Brian/anyone else know how to add the Username Link search to a plugin?
