In V4, you can jump to a different page within a thread from both the top and bottom. In V5, that option is only at the top of the thread. I'd like to have it available at the bottom too. Thank you.

Just going to let you know that their argument is the top bar scrolls down the page with you now.

It keeps following me everywhere... I think it's stalking me... it's making me really paranoid... Anyways, it's possible to add another pagination bar at the bottom of threads/forums/memberlists/conversations/conversation lists via template edits if you or your members end up finding the new scrolling bar to be confusing.

This is possible through template modification. Check over in the Template Modification board for further assistance.

Which I think is just about everybody haha. Including myself. It's horrible, and I am guessing it is for you guys too. With us still actively posting on V4.5 forums, then coming onto Support, and having two completely different layouts lol. However, it's no different I suppose than 2 forums that have completely changed their layout and theme to their own likes.

Tim Camara and I plan to create a plugin with pagination at the bottom and a few other neat features. Hopefully we'll have it done by launch.

For anyone who wants to just do the template edit(s) rather than using a plugin, here's a thread about how I went about adding the bottom pagination. support.proboards.com/thread/438686/add-pagination-links-bottom-threadsIf there are any issues with it just tell me, I am kinda new to this. Good news because it seems my pagination is broke. After entering a thread, It no longer stays at the top, but rather scrolls with the page.. That sounds like a skin/plugin issue, you should probably start a new support thread about it though.

In v5 the pagination is intentionally coded to follow you down the page, so that it and the actions menu are always available to you wherever you are.

If you want to remove it, modify your board and thread templates to remove the two occurrences of this: $[scroll_class], and it'll stop following the page down.

I believe that blueshead is trying to say that it's not scrolling like it's supposed to.

I believe that blueshead is trying to say that it's not scrolling like it's supposed to. Exactly! On this page/thread in Proboards.. It works just fine.. On my betaboard after entering a thread its broken when you scroll. It does not stay in a fixed position..... example here

Looks like you didn't close the .control-bar div.

Looks like you didn't close the .control-bar div. How would I correct this? I must have moved or deleted something when doing a modification to the style sheet? Is this the symbol for closed } ? Where can I find the .control-bar div. so I can mess up more things? hee (I'm a carpenter.. This messing with the CSS is very new to me) But I'm enjoying learning...
