Hi there!

I'd love to use this pug-in on my forum, but I have a question.
Does the weather show up in a pop-up? Or is it set to show up in a container? And if it appears in a container, how do I set that up? I'm using the Sidebar Redux and I'd love for the weather to appear in one of the containers, but I'm unsure as to how to set that up?

it shows up in a container with the id="weather". it could be any container you wish, like a div or a td or even a center tag. as long as
1. it has the id=weather
2. the container writes to the page before the code runs

so if your container is part of another plugin, like side tables, then the weather plugin must run AFTER it. you can re-order plugins in the manage section.

How does the hours offset work? What number should I enter for the weather to change weekly?

hours offset was put in there in case you wanted to to switch at a time other then midnight. so say 8PM you would put in 4, but if you wanted to delay the change you would put in a negative number. it was part of a modification someone wanted and was already part of the base code. if you dont want to offset the change, leave it blank.

the cycle is what tell the code how often to change. it defaults to 24 hours. so just put how many hours you want to be the cycle. keep in mind larger number may or may not be completely accurate since it uses a truncation system to get the seed. if you put into 1000 hours, it might change at 950

make sure the side tables plugin runs BEFORE the weather generator plugin. then in your side tables, have any element you want (span, center, td, etc...) have an id="weather"

so like <span id="weather"></span>
