Props for an amazing plugin - I am OCD about color-coding each roleplay character's speech a different color, generally a unique hexcode, so not having to memorize them or copy-paste from previous posts is deliciously delectable.

Todge Has anyone reported any issues with this lately?

Several of my members are reporting that the color palette is partially hidden, about half if it is hidden.  I think they are mostly IE users, but I'm not sure.  And I HAVE NOT been able to replicate the issue.  I have tried it in IE8, IE9 and FF18 all on Win7 systems.  I'm sure many of these members are still on XP.

EDIT:  I just got this screen shot from a member and all agree it's the same as they're seeing.  Looks like the color palette is aligning above the button instead of below.

Assuming that image is full size, it looks like either the screen resolution is so low, or the text made to be so larger, that there is not enough room below the buttons to display the color box, so it defaults to the top, and disappears off the top of the displayable page. Normally the ads would stop that by creating enough space for the color box to be displayed, but they are not there on your sample image. I can recreate it if I reduce the size of the browser window and hide the ad, but otherwise, no.

Can you try asking your members to make sure they are scrolled to the very bottom of the page, then open the color box, and see if it then works.

I can try repositioning the color box, but, assuming I can, it will obviously look odd compared to all the other posting boxes that popup.

Another thing you could do is add something to the top of your forum, like an info box or something, just to create space between the top of the page and the UBBC buttons on the posting page.

We are all old Air Force retirees in our late 50's, 60's and few in their 70's and I do recall a couple of them mentioning how they use windows zoom to enlarge everything.  Here is the entire image he sent me and from looking at it even if they were zoomed, it looks like the browser is open full, not maximized I can see, but still open and there looks to be lots of space below the UBBC buttons.  I have not had this happen to me so I will inquire more about the zooming.

Another thing about this that bothers me is that the palette is actually hiding under the browser controls, not just the forum.  There is a lot of color selection there that's not available and they could not scroll down to get it visible.

OK, This should attach the colorpicker to the top of your forum, so it should always be accessible..

Put this in your Global Header..

Todge I have an issue with this plugin, I get the following message

This plugin may not be enabled until the required field "_permissions_todgeyskey1" is filled out and saved.

there is no field that I can fill out though.

If there are no actual fields to fill out, just try clicking the Save Changes button to see if that works. It may just need that first "save" to initialize the key.

Todge - The div for the container that holds the 'recently used' table does not have a class and the script seems to auto-add additional rows. which means that if a user has over one row of recently used colours, the div begins to expand in height behind the colour picker interface, rendering picking colours unuseable.

Is there a way to limit the # of recently used colours? Thanks.

The number of recently used colors is already restricted to 18 I believe. Is this too many? If so, then yes, I should be able to limit it to 6 or 12.
