Totally up to you, but remember that the height of each page can differ. While there's a lot of space there on the home page there might not be as much in a thread with only one post.

It would look better if it scrolled down along with the forum but it doesn't even though I have it set on 'scroll'. Also, I unchecked the setting for ancillary pages. On the other pages, there's just a big space where the sidebar would go. I checked the Sidebar Redux to see if there was an option to scroll, but there isn't so I don't know why the Recent Threads sidebar isn't scrolling. Also, when I go to another page, then go back to the home page, the Sidebar is no longer there. And suggestions?

PF, when you get enough threads in the container, a scroll bar appears (as in mine), It's not a rolling scroll ~ it's a scroll bar.

If you've just added the sidebar, PF, you might be seeing a cached version and that's why you don't always see it.
Use an incognito window. If the problem doesn't exist there and the sidebar remains, then you need to clean out your cache.

PF, I take that back. It's been so long now since I've had the plugin I believe I mis-spoke.
I think I actually added the scroll bar to it.
I believe I added this bit of code into the Recent Threads CSS Cell Styling in the "Settings" tab ~
#recent-threads-cell { overflow: auto; }

Hi Luv,
I added that bit of code to the css code, plus emptied the cache but still have that problem.
I remember I had that issue before and I forgot how it was fixed, but it did have to do with adding code somewhere.

Ok, that code should add the scroll bar when you get enough threads in the container.
I went to your forum, PF, but don't see the sidebar at all.

Luv, I put it on the top and like it better there, but i wanted it below the 'Welcome our Newest Member'. It keeps appearing above it even though I put it below that heading in the CSS. How can I fix that placement?
Also, I'm having the same issue where it disappears after I visit a page then go back to the home page it's not there anymore. Even when I'm logged off, I visit as a guest, see it there, but as soon as I visit a page and then go back to the homepage, it's gone.
I remember I had that issue before and forgot what the problem was. It had to do with the code. If you or Brian have a fix, please let me know.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, How do I move the Shoutbox to the sidebar? Thanks. i did it by doing this.. put this in the settings for the sidebar: <div id="move-shoutbox"></div> then put this in your global footer: <script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#move-shoutbox').append($('div.shoutbox.container.full'));
});
</script>

Thanks osmeon! Btw, please take a look at it here: link. The shouts can't be read because of the small borders. How can I make the borders a little wider? EDIT: That's okay. I decided not to use it 'cause it made the bottom items off center.
