Sidebar Redux

Do you have a link to an example? By default the sidebar should already be under your banner when you first install it unless you enabled the Move Banner option.

It looks like it's due to the fact that you moved the $[header] variable in Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper.

Were you just trying to reposition the banner ad when you did that? Because there's a plugin that does that for you without messing up how your headers work.

Yes and at the same time I was trying to move all my navs together. Can't remember what I did to be fair as I'm making changes then if they do what I want I save the theme.

I'll look and if I can reverse the change but I don't know what line $header goes on but I do have a arcing theme which I can learn frm

Right now the $[header] variable is on line 15 of Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper.

To move it back to its standard position you can add a new line after line 68 of that template and move it there.

So does this mean that I can definitely use the welcome banner ad plugin with the sidebar redux. I thought there were conflicts between the two plugins.

O.k I have made the changes but now I can't get the shoutbox in the sidebar and the actual side bar is tiny.

Any ideas?

You can use it alongside the sidebar plugin. You just can't have the Move Banner option enabled while that plugin is active.

So, when I have the move banner option on, the header moves. I do not have the welcome header below banner plugin installed, so there's nothin' to disable. Does it still need to be installed, but just disabled or....?

That's exactly what the Move Banner option is supposed to do. If you want the header area to move back to its original location you can disable that option. It's entirely up to you.

Sorry, the wordin' was off.
What I wanted to know is if there is a way to set up the sidebar next to the banner where it looks like that, but everythin' is at the top of the page. Kinda looks weird havin' that big gap there.

That only serves to confuse me more. I don't understand your request.

I'm not seeing a gap. I see the banner ad, followed by your forum's contents.

It's not possible to remove a single ad banner. The only way to remove an ad is to purchase ad-free.

Hi, i was wondering if i could get what i write to look like how it is writen in the box

If i write a sentance and press enter twice to give some space between lines like this:
Something.

Something.

Something.

I get this:
Something. Something. Something.

I was wondering if there was something i can do to fix this. Thanx for help and awesome plugins.
