I have gone through a lot of this pages but can't seem to figure it out how to chance the size of the sidebar back. I updated the sidebar and when I hit save it became BIG! The board is irenos-wonders.proboards.com/ the sidebar width is 250px, I have done what I can and can't see what the problem is? :/ Same happened to me: linkIt was supposed to be 250px Can't fix it

shaun056 , ireno , pruecharmed : There's an issue with the backend of ProBoards that's causing this to happen. The devs are currently working on correcting it. You can fix it by manually specifying your sidebar widths and spacing with CSS in Structure > Headers & Footers > Global Header. Numbers in green control the width of the respective side mentioned on that line while the numbers in red control the spacing between the forum and your sidebars on that particular side.

shaun056, ireno, pruecharmed: This should be fixed now and the global header fix should no longer be necessary. Go into the Sidebar Redux plugin's settings and resave it and it should function normally again.

It looks fine on my screen. Did you want it taking up 1/4 of the width of the forum?

Brian -- It was showing on our Lunar Eclipse theme. It was a premade theme (I despise premade themes solely because I don't know all of the codes that went into it so it's harder to figure things out). If need be, I can change the theme back!

That would be ideal. You currently have it disabled so even if I were to register an account I wouldn't be able to switch to it myself and I'd rather not change it on your behalf and freak you out since that's the only way I can properly see it. I'm around for 24 more minutes, after which I won't be back until Sunday because holiday.

Alright, I've changed it back! And don't worry, you wouldn't freak me out. I just want to know why this is messing up D:

Just re-enable the theme and select it in Profile > Edit Profile > Settings. That way you don't have to force everyone else on to the theme. The problem with that theme is their HTML is structured incorrectly. They're starting div elements in the middle of their tables in Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board List. Removing or commenting out each instance of this line in that template should fix it.

Noted!
So I did it, but unfortunately it only fixed a small portion of the problem. I'm preeeeeetty sure I did it right; there were only two of them that I saw, both of which I commented out.

Hello. I would like to ask if there's a code so that the sidebar shows the members' mini profile and clickable buttons that show notifications.
Also, is there a code for me to show the forums with new posts. Thank you so much for your help.

Also, is there a code for me to show the forums with new posts. Thank you so much for your help. I don't have one handy. Sorry. The sidebar can only show content that's available on every page. You could add the mini-profile to the Forum Wrapper template to make it show on every page and move it to the sidebar using Javascript or jQuery. You could probably also duplicate the notification buttons in the same template and move them as well. There's unfortunately no way to automatically generate a list of boards with new posts.
