It looks like it's working to me. Did you already get this figured out?

Hello! I'm terribly sorry if this has already been answered somewhere admit the 119 pages... but!
I added your plugin to move the shout-box to the side of the page for the members of my forum, but it appears when visiting the site on mobile, clicking edit or create post will cause the shoutbox to take up the entirety of the screen and there seems to be no way to scroll past it. I tried playing with the settings of the sizes (among other things) but nothing corrected the issue. Is there a known fix?
Thank you so much.

I've not authored any plugins or codes that move the shoutbox. Is this a problem relating to the Sidebar Redux plugin or just the shoutbox in general? It's worth noting that I've done absolutely no testing with the Sidebar Redux plugin on mobile as it only runs on the desktop version of the forum which is aimed at desktop devices.

First off, I'm VERY new to everything proboards has to offer now. I left right after the switch to V5 I've been working on trying to get a grasp for how things work again, but definitely struggling a bit.....
I feel more or less stupid in asking , but how actually do I get the sidebars to show up and work? I've added the plugin, but a bit lost on what I'm suppose to do from there.

In Plugins > Manage > Sidebar Redux in your admin area click on the Left Sidebar or Right Sidebar tab to customize that particular sidebar. To enable the sidebar tick the Enabled checkbox. You can then configure each container within your sidebar using the bottom section.

Yes, I used the plugin to move it, but I think the tutorial I followed on how to do that was on someone else's forum post ... not yours. I was just wondering if you'd heard of any such issues or not!

I've had mentions of issues with the plugin itself (without the sidebar movement code) on mobile, but those were mostly due to the Fixed Positioning option and screen resolution, as well as how mobile devices handle the former. If your sidebar is completely static I don't believe it should present an issue as the shoutbox should be automatically adopting the width of its parent element, which would be your sidebar.

Hello, how would I shoutbox to the sidebar? Use the Move Shoutbox script and either add the code in red in that post to an existing shoutbox container, or create a placeholder container and give it the ID move-shoutbox instead of using the part in red.

Thanks how do I add updated threads in to a box? Use this plugin: www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/676Follow the instructions in the support thread for that plugin (found via the help button in the right sidebar on that page) to get it into the Sidebar Redux plugin.

Brian, Hey guys, I have no idea what happened and I didn't do it. Went out or lunch today and when I came back two things had happened mysteriously.... 1) The news bar shrunk in width and it should be 100% 2) I'm assuming as a result the right sidebar shifted upwards. I need the news bar back to full width and the beginning of the sidebar right to be in line with the category "General" at my website 2StrokeAssassins.com I have been trying to fix this and am failing miserably. So before anything else gets messed up on my masterpiece I am desperately seeking outside assistance in correcting this mysterious shift. I put this on my mom I didn't change a single thing in css. This happened...I really don't know. Maybe someone can look or see if someone else has access to my admin functions. Thank you very much..... www.2strokeassassins.comI checked the security logs first before coming and there is nothing out of the ordinary. Good point P??a?s??t?u?le?o?2?3??. It appears as if it is happening only on the home page. Ya know, is there testing going on with parts of V6 being implemented because I am the only one who works and has ever worked or designed my site. I am noticing other small differences and variances in some behind the scene places. Anyways, I would like to get my news bar back to full width and sidebar redux'x sidebarr-right moved back down and in align with the home pages title bar "GENERAL". I really need this done because we have some new sponsors looking at us in the motorcycle industry and now this. Perfect timing right!!! And I still don't know how this shifted on it's own. Thanks for your help ok will do but it wasn't before this is all new and trying to fix it i made it worse ( to me ) as in the sidebar right box now moved up even farther than before but is at least aligned with the forum title bar....IT NEEDS TO BE ALIGNED WITH THE H2 "GENERAL" box

Assassin #1, the only way for that to have happened is if you changed your theme's layout templates. By default the news feed is always pushed aside by the sidebar as it comes after your forum's headers. If you removed something from your template that was supposed to move it out of where it currently is or reset the Home template it would certainly result in what you're seeing now.

Brian, thanks for your help and acknowledgement. I solemnly do swear I had not touched or changed a thing. In a template layout or css. It was in the right place for as long as I got your plugin and finally got it setup properly along with the recent threads update by todge. Went to lunch, came back and it was shifted. I am seeking your help to have your right sidebar begin inline with the title bar named "GENERAL" which will also allow my forums title bar "2 Stroke Assassins....." and news bar to have full width of the forum page again. Could you please help as my coding experience is rookie level at best. I have already spent hours trying and have gotten nowhere Thank you in advance Brian. www.2strokeassassins.com

Hey I'm trying to add a few things to make the side bar look at little more interesting... some subtitles(I dont want to be changing images everytime I change the skin), b&w image when image is hovered over, and a clickable tab box for a "news" container, however, I am having serious issues getting the codes to work...
Any tricks on how to get things working?
((PS its been a very long time since I've worked the admin side of a proboard form so please bear with me))
