To get just the word "Rules" as the link, do this:

It's the text in between the <a></a> tags that denote the text that is to be linked, so having the first part outside of that <a> tag will have it as normal text.

As for your color, you've got the aspect right, but you're using BBCode, not HTML. HTML would look the same except replace the [ with < and the ] with >, so it looks like this:

Guyz How To Do SHOUTBOX To Show In All Threads Home ... In All Forum To Show ??

I used It From SIdeBarRedux and iam use it in left but shoutbox show only in Home !

any hhelp ? ?

I seem to have problems on moving the forum information & stats container to a sidebar.

I can't transfer it like how it did to the shoutbox. Can somebody help me out here?

Can you clarify what you mean by "another part of that sidebar"? There's three different types of spacing I can think of:

- The spacing in the Left Sidebar and Right Sidebar tabs that determine the distance between two different containers within your sidebar
- The spacing in the Other Settings tab that determine either the space between the sidebar and the forum's main content or the sidebar and the top of the screen when using the fixed positioning option
- The spacing between content inside your sidebar containers, which is determined by your HTML and CSS (you can throw a <br /> tag into your sidebar to insert a line break)

You'll need to provide a link to your forum. I'm assuming you have something telling the shoutbox to only show on the homepage, but without a link to your forum I have no way of verifying that in order to properly assist you.

The reason the shoutbox can be moved to the sidebar is because it's located in the Forum Wrapper template which contains content that shows on every page of your forum. It's impossible to make the Forum Information & Statistics show on every page because it's specific to the Home template which only shows on your forum's index page.

My plugin doesn't have any functionality that would make recent posts show on your forum. You'd need the Recently Updated Threads Sidebar plugin for that.

Yup! They work in conjunction with one another.

The Recently Updated Threads Sidebar is what grabs the recent threads, and you can use the Container ID field found in its settings to move the recent posts container into the Sidebar Redux plugin.

You'd need to use HTML, so you'd use the HTML <a> tag to produce a link.

Example:

It's pretty much exactly the same as in the BBCode tab of a post, except you'd substitute the brackets with less than and greater than symbols.

So instead of [a] you'd use <a>.

Hiya! I have several questions. Was wondering if there is a way to incorporate recently updated threads to this plugin? I know there is a plugin specifically for that sort of thing, but I don't like how it looks with this plugin. For some reason they don't line up quite well together.

The other question was, I have a forum that is for role playing, and we have a list of the members that are currently participating. Is there a way that we can have that list show who's turn it is?

To elaborate, there would be a topic in which members would be role playing. And on the side bar, there is a list of members who are role playing, and the list indicates the order in which these members are supposed to post.

When someone replies to that topic, I would want the list to notify who's turn it is, by maybe changing the color or something like that. Or maybe I can make another box that would automatically update itself to say who's turn it is without the list?

Like, the box would say "______'s turn is up next..." or something similar. Or maybe there's another plugin for stuff like this that I'm not aware of?
