Category Split Length.pbp (817 B) This is a plugin. A couple people asked me to put it in the database. It does stuff. It is amazing. It simply changes the distance between each of your categories to whatever you specify. You can also choose to apply that margin above or below the categories as well. Pizza. Pizza cake.

Pizza cake. I do indeed like this, but is there absolutely no other way to remove the gap/split and connect the tables to one another (like default in v4.5) without having to use a plugin? I plan to make lots (or some at least ) themes, and some of the ideas I have mean removing the split. I don't want to have to tell everyone to go here to download a plugin to do such a simple task. Thanks though (not insulting you or this btw, it does kinda come across as that, but I promise I am not haha)

This is for the not so knowledgeable. If you know even a wee bit of HTML you should be able to remove it in your Layout Templates on your own.

Is it possible for the borders to be different colors?

Is it possible for the borders to be different colors? This plugin has nothing to do with coloring anything, and thus is unable to fulfill that purpose.

sorry to bother anyway, if I'd use this plugin not to split but to merge categories, how could I adjust categories' border radiuses to set them all to 0 except the superior ones of the first title bar and the inferior ones of the last category? (also hoping the plugin will affect just categories in the main page, ignoring sub-boards in boards' pages) ehm, hope what I asked is... understandable at least, not so sure about it, reading again

It's possible to do that without even using the plugin, user07. Structure > Layout Templates > HomeFind this line. And change it to this. Then go to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and add this to the bottom.

Then go to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and add this to the bottom. I changed the first line to the 2nd and then changed the "0" to a number to how much gap that I wanted between my categories. Now, what I want to know, is there something similar to this, in a different area of the layout template, that can separate my board threads? Also, can the boards themselves on the home page be separated?

I offered the template earlier because I had it handy.

Thanks Brian Ordonez for the template offer. I won't be using it because I found what I was looking for on another site.
