[Plugin] Category Split Length

This is a plugin. A couple people asked me to put it in the database. It does stuff. It is amazing.

It simply changes the distance between each of your categories to whatever you specify. You can also choose to apply that margin above or below the categories as well.

I do indeed like this, but is there absolutely no other way to remove the gap/split and connect the tables to one another (like default in v4.5) without having to use a plugin?
I plan to make lots (or some at least ) themes, and some of the ideas I have mean removing the split. I don't want to have to tell everyone to go here to download a plugin to do such a simple task.

This is for the not so knowledgeable. If you know even a wee bit of HTML you should be able to remove it in your Layout Templates on your own.

This plugin has nothing to do with coloring anything, and thus is unable to fulfill that purpose.

sorry to bother
anyway, if I'd use this plugin not to split but to merge categories, how could I adjust categories' border radiuses to set them all to 0 except the superior ones of the first title bar and the inferior ones of the last category?
(also hoping the plugin will affect just categories in the main page, ignoring sub-boards in boards' pages)

It's possible to do that without even using the plugin, user07.


Structure > Layout Templates > Home

Find this line.

<div class="container boards">

And change it to this.

<div class="container boards{if $[category.index] == 0} first{elseif $[category.index] == $[category.lastIndex]} last{else} middle{/if}">

Then go to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and add this to the bottom.

.container.boards.first, .container.boards.middle { margin-bottom: 0; }
.container.boards.first > .content { .rounded-corners(0); border-bottom: 0; }
.container.boards.middle > .title-bar { .rounded-corners(0); }
.container.boards.middle > .content { .rounded-corners(0); border-bottom: 0; }
.container.boards.last > .title-bar { .rounded-corners(0); }

Sounds like a question for the Templates board. My plugin does what it does, and that's it. I offered the template earlier because I had it handy.

Thanks Brian Ordonez for the template offer. I won't be using it because I found what I was looking for on another site.
