I am from the UK so type in English English which is a problem when I write things like colour and centre. Is there a way to change this as I am admin and my brain loves to switch off.

For things like color and center we are merely adhering to web standards. That isn't ProBoards, that's the entire world's internet.
You could possibly try using the censored words to replace your way with the standard way. I'm not positive if that will work though.

just a suggestion I know its HTML coding and such which uses American English so was just wondering if there was a way to change it as I do a code and I'm like: oh it didn't work because I type it in English English.

As Ryan Roos has mentioned, American English is the standard for these things. HTML, like most programming languages, works only with American English spellings. I grew up in the US, but was raised using some English spellings. I make the colour/color mistake all the time in HTML and CSS.

HTML requires it and that can't be changed as it is part of the underlying language. BBCode tags on v5 however do support them to a degree, eg I wrote this using the colour tag

Want to say you can, need not deliberately to change.
