I think someone is working on this. I asked them personally.  They are just probably very busy with other things. However, they said to me that they would try to get to it at the weekend. Okay, I'm bumping this, as I'm still not sure anything is getting done for it. I really need this. I had to painstakingly manually highlight my profile application template to repost all my character's profiles. That was 60 plus. I've had to take strong painkillers for my aching wrists. I will have more new characters to make soon and I really need this plugin thanks.

Probably not what you're looking for since I ripped it out of another project and added an ugly highlight button at the bottom. If it's not what you wanted then I'll do something more to your request if and when I get some "me" time.

As much as I appreciate the trouble of Eton Bones creating the Syntax Highlighter, I've had to disable it, as I felt it was the cause of my site lagging when moving on the site from page to page. In this instance I would like to re-request in the hope that someone could possibly to do what they can to re-create the V4 highlightable code function - details given on the original post. Thanks. Just to once again explain that it's required so much because of my condition of arthritis and I feel that manually highlighting big codes is aching my wrists and causing a lot of unnecessary pain. Since converting to V5 I have managed to get my site pretty much the way it was on V4 apart from this code. It's the only thing I need now and as I use codes almost on a daily basis this is quite important to me. Also I have noticed {Eton's attempt aside} that newer requests have been dealt with before mine. I know I'm not the only one after this V4 highlightable code box.

Bump - I need a re-work on this please, thanks. I know this was attempted but it's not really working for me. I would still want one more to the V4 type/look and feel. I badly need this for my arthritic hands.

I do appreciate what you did though, I'd hate for you to think that I don't. It was a great way to make it highlight in one click but I think it's causing the pages to load in slightly slower, not really sure. I will keep bumping and hope for the best thanks again though.

I am looking for this code as well. The way v.5 current [code] works creates the page to scroll. I'd much prefer if the entire code was kept in a neat and convenient box with a highlight code like in v.4

Edit; Eton Bones Syntax Highlight plugin does great for large amounts of code, I will be using this for the time being. It would be better if the box were smaller though for small amounts of code, or even adjusted for the space needed.



There's just too much blank space for my liking. Is there a way to change the size of the box?

BUMP! Whatever one gets created first, either this or the "select all" option in the code box. Either works for me to be honest. Preferably this one, but I think "select all" would work just the same.
