This code works great with firefox now.

This is the part that needs replaced with yours:

{if $[reply_button]}
<li style="display: inline-block; padding-right: 8px;"><a onclick="scroll(0,document.body.scrollHeight);">To Bottom</a></li><li style="display: inline-block;">$[reply_button]</li>
{/if}

I forgot to remove the {/if} with your code, so this is why I brought it up.

Go to Structure > Layout Templates > Thread and select the Quick Reply tab.

On Line 4 you're missing the closing </a> after To Top. That line should look like this:

<li style="display: inline-block; padding-right: 4px;"><a onclick="scroll(0,0);">To Top</a></li>

Hi Brian (you'll be sick of the site of my posts soon if you're not already * chuckle *) is there any way to get it to stop at the last post or the quick reply box when it jumps down?



I love the feature and it works perfectly it's just that on my forum it takes you all the way right down to the bottom of the page - the 'related stories' section and the shoutbox, rather than the last post in the thread or the quick reply, which seems more intuitive?

Probably with a little Javascript, but I'm not entirely sure how I'd do it.

I take it that this can also be mod'd for 'To Top' and can a image be placed where the text is?

That's what I'm using on mine, a couple small images for Back to Top and To Bottom.  I love the buttons there, but I wasn't crazy about the size being the same as Reply... the most important button

That Action Bar scrolls with you to the bottom, at least to the end of the posts.  Depending on what you display at the bottom of your forum below the last post will determine how many keyboard UP Arrow clicks you make to reach that last post and have the Action Bar reappear.

On my site, with the Quick Reply, Related Topics & Stories and Shoutout being displayed, 6 UP arrow clicks is what reaches the last post thus makes the Action Bar reappear.

I would love to have the bottom "jump to" as in v4 with the board links or the ability to place a second nav tree at the bottom. It would be nice to be able to navigate from the page once you're at the bottom instead of having to go back to the top ~ even with a "to top" button.

Or the nav tree should float ~ like the pages do ~ so it appears no matter where you are on the page.
