My members love the karma system as it exists in their MP.
I like being able to change the smite/exalt images.
An opt out option would also be necessary, or the ability to stop particular members from abusing them.
I like being able to access it in their profiles to give them more than one at a time.
It would also be nice for the members to be able to give more than one person karma at one time. Rather than how it was in V4.
If this exists excuse me.

I believe they've removed the karma system from v5, so it's better to ask for that back, actually.

Is there a separate thread, or forum for that?

Nope. Feature requests are made here (technically, plugin requests should be made in the Plugins & Codes board). You can probably keep this thread open.

We've already rejected this numerous times. The smite/exhalt was replaced with the Like system in v5. People can create their own mods with plugins if they wish.

Well this just makes me sad I don't feel that the "like system" is a replacement at all since there isn't even a "dislike" which I had actually gotten a plugin for on V4. Plus, now you can only "like" posts and there's no way to appreciate a person unless you want to spend money on the "gifts". Bogus in my opinion. On my board, karma was a way to help me keep track of certain things. For example, after a point, I started giving out a karma point to each new member upon approval so I knew that those with a 0 had obviously not been around for a while. When someone went out of their way to write something up or help someone or say, came up with a great DIY project, I'd exalt them. On my husband's board, karma was currency for characters in his role-playing game so being able to set/add/subtract came in handy. If anyone comes up with a plugin, I'm sure we wouldn't be the only ones that would appreciate it.

If anyone comes up with a plugin, I'm sure we wouldn't be the only ones that would appreciate it. We don't support a negative forum environment, hence the lack of a dislike button. You are in no way required to ever purchase a gift for someone. Though some of those gifts can be quite useful, like ProBoards+ and it's personal ad-free. Seems like a pretty great way to show someone real appreciation vs a simple tally on their exhalt count. There's no reason you can't continue to track things in v5. Either through custom fields or plugins you can literally make anything. Including a banking system, which was one of the first plugins already made, I believe. And eventually ProBoards will be releasing it's Official RPG Shop plugin that will have a more secure built in banking system.

Thank you Ryan Roos for your response. I have since seen the money one so Hubby will be glad for that I also don't like promoting a negative forum environment. We rarely had any dislikes but given the nature of my board (caring for live critters) occasionally someone tells you something that is sad or angers you that someone else did, ie; a pet store employee who admitted to not even feeding the hermit crabs because they "freak her out" & lying by writing on the shop form that she had. The dislike would be for the situation, not the person posting it but I get what you mean & someone's made a karma plugin now anyway so I'll be satisfied
