Option to hide what board I am viewing

I can't find this option in the profile settings.
I don't want people to be able to see what specific board I am in. I don't want to go invisible either. I want people to know I am online, just not what board I am in.


Can we have an "opt out" option, so people can't see this?
Maybe it's already there, and I am simply missing it. In which case, apologies for being blind

You can be invisible. Or you can be visible.

Or on your forum you can remove the section entirely.

It's not a simple case of "no" though.
I want people to see I am online, but I don't want them to know which board I am viewing and when.
I don't have a forum, and the forums I am active on, I have no control over in the sense of "I'm just going to disable this feature".

I don't see WHY you can't add it as an option, so people can either allow themselves to be seen PER board or not.
At least explain why and not just a "no".

It is that simple. You explained your point in your OP.

It's a no because we already drew the line on privacy where we did. You either are fine with people knowing where you are (on a board level) or not. We give you an option if you're not. What does it matter if someone knows your in GT? Why is that a problem? If it is, go invisible. If you want to be online then don't. We actually didn't allow it to be more specific then boards for your privacy already. You're asking for an entire feature to be added simply because you want people to know 1 level deep, but not 2 of wherde you are. There's no need for that level of micro management. We already give you an out if you aren't comfortable with people seeing you in a public place.

Additionally we don't have the time for this feature. It's not something we can just add. Things don't work like that. And last, it's one more piece of clutter and one more option that doesn't actually achieve much in the grand scheme of things. A whole setting just to decide between if people can see you on the home page or 1 level deeper on a board. Hide or don't hide. But don't try to hide sometimes.
