These are buttons that insert content into the typing area so I'm not sure how custom profile field would fit, perhaps you can explain with a bit more details

Well, I have a post template set up as a table cause I'm trying to create a rpg for my forum. I have custom profile fields with numbers and I'd like to be able to have buttons to call those numbers for members when they post kind of like the dice roller

You would need to request a plugin for that, this plugin deals solely with outputting a specific type of formatting used in posts called BBCodes. Outputting arbitrary data such as custom profile fields would require something totally different.

Ah, Alrighty. Well thank you for replying speedy. It seems like I'm going to have to wait for v6 for what I'm wanting to do. Thank you again

It doesn't create promptable nested BBCode beyond the main one unfortunately. In your example the [a] would be the main (outer) BBCode and the [img] would be the inner BBCode. If you have static BBCode that you want nested within the main BBCode the button outputs then you can use the pragma_content attribute to define the inner content which can contain text or even additional BBCode but the inner BBCode would not have promptable fields asking for "src" for example while the outer BBCode could still prompt for "href". In a nutshell, if the image remains unchanged and you want the "href" as user configurable then the plugin can do it but it won't prompt for both "href" and "src".

Hi, Chris ~
I just installed this plugin. And I like it.
However, I have "Previous Thread/Next Thread Buttons in each thread and for some reason, it's picking those up in the Q/R.
Is there a way I can remove those? In fact, they repeat twice. Once before Font Face and once before Font Size.
I know I can remove those two features, and it will probably remove the "Previout Thread/Next Thread" Buttons, as well. But I'd prefer not having to do that, if at all possible.
Thanks!

Thanks! Hi ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ , that's due to this code in your footer: I included the neighboring script to help give context and hopefully make it easier to locate. If you add the blue as I've done above then that should theoretically make it target just the actions dropdown rather than every dropdown on the page

Thank you, Chris ~ for both the reply and the promptness of it!
I'll give that a go and get back to you. But I'm already sure it will work. Your solutions always do.
EDIT: Of course, that did the trick, Chris . As I knew it would.
And did you see the "Add Image to Post" button at the bottom? That's also thanks to you in a reply on another thread!
I never know how you do what you do, but I sure appreciate it! I'm glad you kept your membership on our forum and you could take a peek for yourself.

Hiya, Chris! I recently updated your plugin since I had an older version. I'm not sure what's going on now. When I click on the smiley in the quick reply button line up, all the old (original to the plugin, I think) ones show up rather than the ones I've changed them to through the "images" of the theme. How can I get the new ones to show up when the menu drops down rather than the old ones? Hope I explained that right. hahaha Thanks for any help!

Have you perhaps disabled instead of hid your shoutbox Forever Sunshine ? Tips- If you define custom smiley emoticons in your admin panel this plugin has no access to that data so if you wish those custom smileys to show up in the plugin then enable the shoutbox so the plugin can grab them from the shoutbox, you can still hide the shoutbox, if that is what you wish, by editing the shoutbox template so it becomes hidden but remains enabled
see spoiler for an alternate explanationPerhaps this will be more understandable... If you have smilies other than the standard smilies defined in your admin panel then those smilies would not be available for the BBCode plugin to access on certain pages. In order to have those custom smilies appear when using quick reply you must enable the shoutbox. With the shoutbox enabled the BBCode plugin can grab the smilies from the shoutbox. If you do not want the shoutbox to display for your members and visitors then the image I posted shows how to edit the shoutbox layout to effectively hide it (but still have it remain enabled) This has nothing to do with any other plugin or even how you host your smilies. As long as you've told the admin panel which smilies you want to use it will send those smilies to the shoutbox but it will not send them to a plugin. The plugin therefore cheats by copying off the shoutbox's paper when the teacher is not looking...
