Ok. Thanks, Chris. I've noticed a lot of hiccups in the smilie section, in the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure it's W10 related. But oddly, some straighten themselves out. Your answer also provided a hint to me. When the QR wasn't showing them, I did start using the Reply instead, which you say would have caused an update. It's all integral. I do have some trepidation regarding V6. Sure wish they'd get that done so we could just move on. *sigh*

Just to be clear JJ , this plugin does not deal directly with smileys, the plugin's main thrust are buttons such as the button you click to open the smiley popup or bold a piece of text or insert a link . Whatever you have set for smileys or whether it displays is not under the control of the plugin. If you have special smileys defined but only the standard ones show when using quick reply you'll need to have the shoutbox enabled for those special smileys to show when the WYSIWYG builds the buttons. The images I speak of are for buttons not smileys

I did all that shoutbox stuff long ago, Chris, got that under control and even helped a few people that didn't understand the steps. My drop down smileys are all links, but I do have some of my default replacement smileys hosted at Proboards. I am also one of the fortunate few that didn't even have links messed up when Photobucket got into a snit, because I wasn't using the culprit third party link. I use the IMG code and not the other things that caused all the furor. It's unfortunate that Photobucket did such a lousy job of explaining the third party linking issue and folks thought they were being asked to shell out big bucks to use the service. I have two accounts, one free and one I pay for to host large files. I never lost a single image, including my free account, where most of my smileys are hosted. The plugin you provided so long ago is a keeper, and I thank you for helping all of us that had issues with the learning curve.

That generally means you have TWO versions of the plugin running ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥ , plugins that do not use keys can coexist without having to overwrite each other although they will share the configuration of the last one to load

As usual, you are correct. I assumed (bad of me) that when I had the data imported from the old version to the new, that the old was automatically deleted. But nope, that's not so.
All is well. Thank you.

I'd like a custom button that will work like quote, but instead just tags the person who posted. Can this plugin do this?
I have a problem with people using quote to reply to someone specifically because it's an easy way to tag them. They have a huge chain of multi quotes due to not wanting to type in a tag look up.

If you have a bbcode that can do that then the plugin can make a button for it, the plugin only creates buttons it does not create bbcodes. Note: this plugin does not support BBCode not already supported elsewhere such as through a third-party plugin or natively by Proboards

There's actually a plugin called speedtag you can find on the forum that does exactly what I was asking for.

I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me! A day may come when the true purpose of plugins fail, when we forsake our codes and break all bonds of library listings. But it is not this day. An hour of inexplicably misunderstood purposes when the age of Coders comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand! Coders of PB!

Hey Chris, I spotted your post in another thread... support.proboards.com/post/7076700/thread(Quoted below) Let me see if I have this right. I tried this [audio src="https://files.catbox.moe/g9tiu1.mp3" controls="controls"] it does show up in the "preview" but once I create the post it's blank. I mean, what I got from your post was that this code should work it's just not talked about. Ya know like Fight Club! (Oh damn I wasn't supposed to talk about it.) It apparently looks to be a little bit more complicated than that now! Back then the majority of embeds were built on the client side via flashEmbed or some inhouse library that detected if the user's browser was HTML5 compatible and output the HTML5 version rather than the flash version via javascript dropped directly into the post. All of that changed and the only tags that retained that javascript-directly-in-the-post model were the spoiler tag and this "unused" (so never updated) audio tag. Unfortunately this means the tag is currently unusable in this current form unless a feature mimic library such as the one below is added to the forum's header to get those audio tags working again <script> (function () { Modernizr.audio && (window.AudioPlayer = { embed : function (id, opts) { $('#' + id).replaceWith($('<audio />', { src : opts.soundFile, controls : 'controls' })) } }) })()
/*AudioPlayer.embed("audioplayer_689428008", {soundFile: "https://files.catbox.moe/g9tiu1.mp3"});*/
</script> This should be a bit more user-friendly especially if you use the ubbc buttons plugin to create a button for creating audio embeds. I added that code to my header and it works great, now I want to set up a button... I'm using Control Freak™ Version 0.9.2 Beta, what exactly should I put in to do that on the create button tab?

Is there a way to make a button that display a list instead of input valors, i have made this:
Tag: Orden |=|][ssap=0-0|pragma_noendtag=[/Orden]
So it displays a window where I put the valor, but I want to know if in stead it can display multiple options.

Is there a way to make a button that display a list instead of input valors, i have made this: Tag: Orden |=|][ssap=0-0|pragma_noendtag=[/Orden] So it displays a window where I put the valor, but I want to know if in stead it can display multiple options. From what i can decipher here, you're trying to create a tag such as [ssap=0-0] or [ssap=1-4] correct? The plugin has no planned way to create that old style BBCode format where the name of the tag itself is set equal to a value with the V5 WYSIWYG subsystem now dealing only in discrete attributes ( [ssap attr1-"1-1" attr2="1-2" attr3="1-3"]) so keep your hack if it is working for you though I am unsure if [orden ="value"] holds any significance or is just a remnant of the hack and if remnant how is that being addressed (censors?). The plugin does have a way to create a dropdown list instead of an open ended input field by providing options in the attribute field in the format shown below (hover over each picture to see how the attribute field is constructed) but once again this is for a discrete attribute model not the old style BBCode format where the tag name is set equal to some value so I will need some clarification on what you're looking to put in the list and how are you expecting that list to be outputted if not via attribute values? This version will also expand on input types to include textareas, selects (aka dropdowns) and V5's custom selectMenu. So now in addition to the standard input field You can specify a 'select' element to limit responses to valid choices or 'selectMenu' to give it that V5 look I can create a list by using this format in the attributes field ssap(Quick Action)=["select",["1-0","Action Zero"],["1-1","action One"],["1-2","Action Two"],["1-3","Action Three"],"value","1-3"]
Edit:Although I am still unsure of what direction you are taking this I feel I should also note that the ["value", "descriptor"] comprising each list item expects certain characters such as "[" and "]" to not be included in the value or the descriptor so if you are planning to do something like ["[ssap=0-0]","Ataque Rapido"] you would need to entify them in order to avoid breaking the attribute parsing: ["[ssap=0-0]","Ataque Rapido"]Off the top of my head I would say other characters disallowed would be: ,|"':()
