Dice Roll in Posts

I use the Dice Roll in Posts code found

in my site. It's an integrated part of our system and much needed. I was wondering if there were any plans in recreating this? Or if there was a Die Roll in Posts Plug in that's going to be released? If not then I'd like to request one if possible. I ask because again it's needed for my own site. We use it for many Roleplay needs, finding certain things, random encounters, and certain things that may call for it.

I can tackle this. Give me a day, though.

One immediate issue: what prevents a member from inserting 20 dice rolls into a post, posting, noting the one with the value he wants, editing his post, and deleting all the dice that aren't the one he's interested in?

Or alternatively, what prevents a member from copying the UBBC to clipboard before he posts, observing whether he likes the value or not, and if he doesn't, immediately deleting the post, pasting the UBBC back in, and making another attempt. Rinse, lather, repeat until he gets a favourable roll?

Do you require protection against either of these exploits?

WE also need this on our site, the original dice roller for pre v5 gave you the option to not allow preview. If you can prevent exploits in those ways that is a good thing. to my knowledge that above exploits have not been used, if you tried to edit your post it rerolled the numbers each time.

It's still in Beta, but you can try the VDice plugin, hot off the code bench.
