Post Text Color for Certain Members

There are certain areas that some members would prefer to have a set hex color when posting. They would notify the admin to what hex color they want and then that username and hex color would be placed within that code.

Example:

uI["admin"]="HEX COLOR";
uI["username"]="HEX COLOR";
uI["username"]="HEX COLOR";
uI["username"]="HEX COLOR";
uI["username"]="HEX COLOR";
uI["username"]="HEX COLOR";

I had a similiar code (v4.5) in which it (code) was placed in a 'Category' Global Footer.

Does this just change the size of the font that has been posted? Like in thread view, or does it change the text in the posting page?

Hello Shorty...

It changes the text color in posting for that member.

Example:

A member or members wishes to have a set color (00ff00) for posting and ask the admin to add his/her username to that code.

That member or members now has a fixed hex color no matter where they post.

Okay. So it changes the color of the entirety of their posts? If I'm still not correct, can you link me to the v4 code?

That's it Shorty and only if I/admin places their username and hex color in the code.

Would you like the option to have a different color for their quotes/codes in their posts? Or would you want it to take the same color?

Surely the individual members in question could easily set this using the Settings tab, when editing their profile? There is a section titled 'Default BBCode', in which they could add [color=HEX][/color], which would have the same result. =]

I have it written for the most part. Just last night when I was testing it the search function wasn't working so I couldn't test it.

Member Post Color

You can specify what board you want it on, if you don't specify a board, it takes effect on every post of that member.
