separate message screen for disabling accounts

This was something was thinking about for a while while messing around in the reports area with my test account and I notice when you disable a member for say three days you there should be able to add a separated message saying the account was disabled for breaking the rules.




 
Like there should be a button next to "send pm" that says "show on screen" whatever you write in the staff notes that day it will show up on the disabled member screen then with the next incident it will show the new note bolded as well as the old notes in standard text.

I thought this was a great Idea but if this can be made into a plugin that would also be sweet
what do you think?

I do not believe that plugins load for disabled accounts.

but couldn't the plugin work off of 2 areas? username/e-mail when ever they try to use either or the "Disable Message Screen" would be in place of the user logging into the site.

you now like a redirecting them from the user log-in page to a separate area with the message screen stating why their account was disabled.

When you try to login to a disabled account, the global login pages shows the account as disabled and won't let you click on it, before you get to the forum. Plugins don't work here, so a plugin will not put data on this screen.

thats exactly what I would like see
and to also add an area where it gives a reasoning as to why its disabled

probably in the middle with a gap in between the first sentence and the last
kinda like this:

ACCOUNT DISABLED

REASON: give a reason as to why you cannot access it

EXPIRES: Mon, Day, Year, Hour

I mean if we can get it just like that .... that would be sweet

I'll be honest
I get lost with all the new features in V5 that old features in V4 everything is either disabled due to law or its a security issue but now I'm getting the hang of it

There is already a disabled message as RedBassett showed you. Beyond that, warning notes added through the reported post feature have the option of being sent as a PM to the person as well. Beyond that, you can PM the person directly whatever you want and upon their return they can read about it. Beyond that, you can use the Email Members feature to email the member information should you actually wish to do so.

There is no feature within this thread that we will be adding at this time. Thank you for the discussion though.
