1) When you're viewing a reported post it doesn't give any sort of log of what actions have been taken. For example, if I click 'take immediate action' and delete a post, nothing shows in the report that the post was deleted. It would be helpful if it were logged somewhere, so that we could look at the archive and see who did what.
2) Is there any way I can have it set so that my moderators who are not global can see the reported posts on their board? That's how I had it on v4, and it allowed them to deal with the reports where the thread just needed to be edited or something, and then they could pass it to the global mods if a ban was necessary.
3) Can we make it so that the notification above the admin tab doesn't disappear until a report has been resolved/archived? As it is now I think it goes away as soon as one person views the report, but that means that mods aren't seeing reports on their own boards because they aren't getting a notification for them anymore.

1) This is a great idea. Not exactly sure how we go about it. We could take the security log actions that are already associated with the post id and display them in the actions taken area possibly. Talking to another one of the devs we think that could be doable.
2) At this time no. We decided during development that it quickly got out of hand for management. We definitely understand where your coming from with the request, but at the current time that isn't how we're going to handle reported posts. Later in v5.x we will come back to this and re-examine it.
3) Notifications are unique to each individual, not based on when another person views something. Unless the report has been completely resolved and archived it should not be disappearing for you. Additionally, any time you enter the admin area there should also be an alert with the number of pending reports in red.

I always see the alert in the admin area, but I very rarely see the notification bubble. I guess maybe I should report it as a bug? My other mods have said the same thing.

Another thing - since my mods are going to have to see reports from every board now, would it be possible to list the board that the reported post is on in the report? Like where it says the title of the thread & the reported poster's name, could it also say the name of the board it was posted on? That way they could quickly look to see if the report is for them without having to open the thread in question.

Just thought I'd add that here at PBS, I only get the Admin bubble if there has been a reply to a reported post. The 'X number of reported posts' alert is always present, but if I've read the most recent comments on a reported post that is still active, the bubble disappears.

Okay I''ll try to reply to the last 3 posts all at once. Ellie it shouldn't be a bug. Remember that the alert in the admin area will always be there, but the notification only until you view the report. also make sure you and your members have your notifications set up properly. Your idea to add a board column is a great idea. I will create a task right now for that. Not sure when or how soon it will get added though. Thank you. pawl I haven't experienced trouble with the bubble at all, but I will create a task to review it. Maybe something broke, we did work recently with that. You should only see bubbles when there are new reports (and we will discuss when there are new replies, but for now no to this). So understand that your buble count is not the same as the alert count. The alert will always be the number of unarchived reports. But your bubble is based on what you have or haven't seen yourself. Thank you.
