Shout Box Sound/Beep On Post And New Message

Shout alerts can only be heard when sending. The audible shout alert says: shoutout and is located on our server: www.dodgerslist.com/forumads/shoutbox/shoutbox.mp3  and www.dodgerslist.com/forumads/shoutbox/shoutbox.wav

Our Staff and the select 4 members in the group "ShoutBox" do not hear an arriving audible alert.
-- We all see the messages
-- We all have our volume set to max via the shoutbox slider
-- We all have the sound up on our laptops.

Hello! Is there any way to move the sound option out from underneath the text field in the shoutbox and instead put it beside the smiley buttons/refresh button? Essentially, I'm trying to save space so more messages can be show/so it looks neater. Thanks

I am having the same problem. when I comment in the shoutbox it beeps. when someone else comments I hear nothing. Is there a simple fix?

Is this plugin going to be fixed? When I comment I hear the beep. When someone else comments I hear nothing. It only works on the Home page. If I am in a thread reading a comment I hear nothing. There doesn't seem to have been any development on this plugin in over a year.

I assume that you have a dropbox account from the link you have in the quote above:

https://www.dropbox.com/home?preview=Undertale+Sound+Effect+-+Save+Point.wav

What you have there will not work.

You need to upload that file to your Public Folder, if you have not, then right click on that file which will bring up a menu > Copy public link and click on that and highlight that URL and copy to notepad for use. DO NOT click on Copy to clipboard!

I don't have a pro account. So, I don't have a Public folder. I'm asking if there's a site where I can upload a sound, and direct link it to the plugin.

I could have sworn i saw mention of kiwi6.com in this thread before. I just went to their site and saw it is still operational and actively advertising

In thread search doesn't appear to be working for me so there may have been some sort of problem subsequently discovered with that site making it not viable but I can recall none

No matter what I do, Archive, Kiwi, etc, the noise keeps repeating lol.

Here you can see that the noise plays over and again non-stop after you make a post. Shoutbox located at the very bottom.
