Tried this on my test forum. Deleted previous version, then installed this one. When I first open the page, the new text will appear, once I click on the button, it reverts back to Sound On/Sound Off. link

However I would like to be able to edit the button text

I have tried to find a site with a url to a simple sound to use with this plugin but with no success. Maybe you could include the ability to upload small mp3 files to the plugin instead of having to use a url at all. This way a person could just go to the site you provided with the sounds on it that converts the files for you and download them to there computer and upload them into the plugin. Having to use a url actually makes the use of this much more difficult than it needs to be. Maybe even just include a selection of sounds so that individual forum users could select from a list the sound they want to here when someone post in the soundbox.
Just an idea. If you know where I can get some of these sounds from a hosting site that would help me with putting up a sound for our forum "thecommunity.freeforums.net"
Thanks in advance for any help.

This plug in is no longer playing sounds on all pages on my forum, just on the home page only. Anybody else having this issue? The text on buttons issue hasn't been resolved either, maybe the image or radio buttons that - TuGs suggested could be incorporated

I'm away travelling at the moment so will look at the suggestions in a few weeks. I like the radio button idea I have a bit of airport time now so fixed the button text problem: Shoutbox Sound 1.0.1

When I click on the link it says '404 - file not found' The easiest way to test your url is to put it in your browsers address bar. It will either play the sound (if correct) or take you to a page (incorrect)

What browser are you using? Looking at your site it looks like you only have sound file for IE, not FF and chrome etc EDIT: I just put in my address bar and it still says 404-file not found.
