Save your settings from the old plugin and there are a few more to input in the new one.
You can have either button or both (I think one is less confusing)

The volume bar can be clicked on, dragged or moved with the arrow buttons on your keyboard.

It's not the final version but just wanting it checked out and tested first.

just, a stupid question: is there any way to change, perhaps editing the CSS, the red colour of the volume bar's handle?

You can try adding this to the bottom of your style sheet:


.ui-slider-handle {
   background-color: #FFff00;
}
If it doesn't work then you might need to make it :

background-color: #00FF00 !important;
If you want to change any other styling then you can just add to that part with the CSS you want (but it might need the !important after each line.)

I have both the Shoutbox Sound and Shoutbox Links Plugins installed, both are currently disabled

That's a new one that must have just started happening.... Something must have changed on the back end at Proboards. I'll take a look and see what I can do, but it wont be for a day or two.

Can those that are having problems tell me where you downloaded it from as it may be a particular version that is causing the problem.

I'm using version 1.0.1 downloaded from Dropbox. I switched over to 1.0.0 downloaded via the library after disabling 1.0.1 and still got the same error message. I then removed 1.0.0 and kept 1.0.1.

Same here too. Using version 1.0.0 downloaded from www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/188

Disabled the plugin and it keeps the error at bay.

Pebble it started yesterday ~ and according to Ricky in this post there was a push yesterday. So something in that latest push made the change.

I forgot to mention that the Shoutbox Links Plugin will also cause the same error as well.

Yes, this will affect 3 of my shoutbox plugins. Sound, colours & links.
I already have a fix but need to implement it and then test it.
I should have something submitted to the library tonight and will let you know any progress updates.
