IP Lookup

if you want to further refine like my last version, give it an option to lookup the IP on stopforumspam.com as well. maybe make it an option to choose which one to lookup on.

Oooooh, I hadn´t noticed there were<options. Yep , I´lladd that in later< today once i get to a decent computer. Thanks for the suggestion Wormopolis.

Here we go!

Download: IP Look Up (Alpha) (0.0.2)

There is now an option to choose : whatsmyipaddress.com - to see the location of an IP
                                                 : stopforumspam.com - to check the ip against their huge database of spammer IP's

If you like the code as it is then there is no need to update your code. This version only adds the stopforumspam.com option.

Let me know how it works one way or the other.

I don't suppose it is possible that we can click on both. At times a Ip isn't so clear and it would be nice to be able to use both...No problems if not Pebble - I am very happy as it is..

You could have 2 buttons, one for each.
Mmmmm, OK. If I get some time later today I might re-write this to give the option of showing one button or both. It might be nice addition to the code.

Also , I'll add an input for the button text as they'll need to be differnt from each other.

Im finding that sometimes it works now and sometimes it doesnt show up....what the heck could cause this?

Updated Code: IP Look Up (Alpha) (0.0.3)




Inputs needed:
Select WhatsMyIpAddress, StopForumSpam or both.
Button text for both buttons.

This code doesn't run until everything on the page is loaded (due to working with pagination). If there is something still loading on the page then it wont run until completion. ie: if you have a lot of codes or images then it'll take time before it runs.
It might not appear straight away, but it will!

Thanks again for the latest version. I did notice that it took a long time for ping.crowdscience.com to load whatever it needed and then the plugin worked great.
