Would it be possible to add an Empty space or a No Option alternative to the dropdown menus for the settings in a future update? I noticed that Some of the options have this already (either an empty space before the other settings choises Or the -No Option- text before the settings choises) and it would be great if one of those options would be in All the dropdown menus for the settings. I've had a problem with the font sizes being messed up when hovering the cursor over the category names and have been changing the alternatives for the texts there for too many hours to try to solve the issue setting the font sizes from xx-small to xx-large and varied them in diffrent ways but to no good. Today pawl was helping me fixing this issue and told me that I could just click in the box delete the text and save and that solved the issue i've been having for a long time now and if that option would have been in the dropdown menu in the settings I would have tried that right away after the problems started and would probably have solved it myself in some hours

Additionally, I'd like it if in the colour pickers we could have a similar option, for the same reasons. As it stands, they tend to default to transparent if you try and delete the contents.

It took me a very long time to realize that you were asking for this in the Colors and Styles area. Please start with your location next time. V5 is very large and there are many fields. That being said we'll need to discuss it. You can, as you discovered, already blank out a field by blanking it out and saving. Additionally, pawl, color fields go transparent because that's their nature. You can't have a property with a null value. You have to have something. The solution to no color, is transparent. They are the same. If you are manually editing the CSS then you can remove elements (don't be surprised when the ability to edit in the Color and Styles editor breaks on those specific things). We need a property in order to edit a property. That's how it works. So transparent is what it becomes and the property still exists. You get no color, we get to keep the property. That will not likely be changing. I will add a note to see if we can add a 'no option' to certain fields that don't have it. If some do and some don't there is very likely a reason. Lots of properties in Color and Styles are inherited from higher up the chain. That is the nature of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). That being said there might be proprties that need certain values to exist in order to function. By removing them entirely you may be putting kinks in the chain. The longer a theme is around and the more it is edited the more prone it will be to falling apart. Like a piece of plastic bent back and forth over and over again, if you take a theme too far for too long there's no guarantee that the Medium Editor in Color and Styles will be able to stay in one piece. The theme will surely work, just as editing the CSS itself will. But the Editors (the Easy Theme Creator as well) are fragile things. Something to consider (unless you get waaay into modding) is that themes edited on higher levels will need to continue to be edited on that level. What I mean is this. If you only ever edit a theme in the Easy Theme Creator then you can edit it forever in there. But if you go and edit the CSS directly, there's no guarantee that the lower Editors both the Easy and Medium will continue to function flawlessly (unless of course you code them to). That is their nature. They don't operate on magic. They can only work with what follows their rules. Lots of story for such a small request.

Sorry about that Ryan Roos, it was in the Colors & Styles i was when i found out you could just errase the content of a box and then save to remove that option. I would like it if it would apply in any setting anywhere that would allow you to set the option blank to have either the blank box or the "no option" alternative in them. That way someone like me that has a very limited knowledge of coding/boards/any knowledge needed to set up a board - would know that that possibility is there and can be tested incase something is messed up. Understandable that some things would not be able to have this option and can't have a "no option" in them i won't argue against that but those that can would be nice to know Tyvm for the responce and for taking it into discussion.

I will create a task for our devs to see what (if any) of those field can have no options. I will mention here though that this isn't our highest priority right now. So it may take some time.
Thank you for being understanding.
