Warning Level Bar Gives Staff Notes

I like that placing your mouse on a person's warning level bar gives the percentage of the warning (even though you can see it on the bar itself.) One of my mods asked if it might be possible to have it also give staff the staff notes (which would contain the history of the member's warnings) either by hovering on the warning bar itself with your mouse, or by clicking on the bar within a post. This would save us an extra step in not having to go to a person's profile to get the info.

I do like this idea though, never thought of it. Support!

The problem with any sort of display like that is that user notes can be pages long.

For now we will leave it how it is. Thank you.

I'm honestly not sure if there are variables available for staff notes. Because of their nature they tend to load privately.

You could put in a plugin request and let the coders try to figure it out. My other devs won't be here for a couple hours to ask.

It's really not that much harder to click to their profile.

We won't be adding this right now. There is already full functionality for viewing and editing Staff Notes on a page that has set permissions specifically for people who are allowed to do so. In addition you can add notes from the Reported Posts page. If you really need to add notes to someone then you can go to their profile and do so.

You have multiple ways to get to the staff notes page. The fastest being only 2 clicks from any post anywhere. You can go to the gearbox options drop down (1 click) and then click on Warn Member (1 click) and you are on their Staff tab of the edit profile and the Staff Notes are right there.

We have other high priority tasks and bugs to work on right now in preparation for launch, sorry. This isn't a feature that would even be used on a broad enough scale to add it in by default. Lots of forums don't even utilize the warning system itself.
