I was just wondering... if there is a code I might could add somewhere, so I can have the karma points given/taken by my members shown on our Security Log page like it was in v4?

Sorry, but no. Theres no way to modify the admin panel.

Hello there Shorty  dear pal you!

OK... here's a thought that just popped into my mind. (But before I say it... if my question is too difficult or takes too much time, no worries, just shrug this off.)

Is there a way that the karma points updated would be attached to the screen names with all of the same IP#'s? So, if one sn is updated, then all sn's belonging to the same person would have the exact number of Karma?

Alright, so I just wanted to let you guys know of some of the changes I'm doing to this plugin.

- Remove sessionStorage and use the key to store timestamps
- Add a tab to the profile titled Karma
- Put all Karma related info on this tab
- Add something to show the last 5 people to give you karma
- Add something to show the last 5 people you have given karma
- Changing the way you input stuff in the template making it less confusing and easier(hopefully)

pichu2pikachu2raichu I just wish these coders made it easy. They seem to not make instructions clear enough for people that don't know much about computing code.

I know what you mean, because I'm not one who knows much about computer codes or where to put them. I'm very afraid that I might just mess up my site by tinkering one little thing in or out where it's not supposed to. However, these guys are so patient and realize this, and are very willing to take their time to help all of us to know how to imput their data and where. I think the world of them just because they are helping us to be able to make our sites more fun or interesting.

ps. It's always more of a relief for me to have a test site, I set aside to where I can try things out and not worry about messing up my main site full of friends.

We used the Karma back in v4 on our forum. One thing I liked about your plugin thusfar is that whenever a karma is awarded, it shows the number change the instance it's given. It does not take you to another page then you have to go back to where you were reading to see that it's changed. Will this be changed? I mean, it's no biggie if it does, just wondering.

OH and I love the idea about your adding in the "who did what tabs." I have some members who get Karma in abundance, but don't give any out maybe twice a year. Then there are others of us who give it out very often. OH YEAH! I also loved how you give the admin the choice as to how often it can be awarded.

The changing of the number will still be instant.

Also, i made the template part alot easier. When the new plugin is in the library i will explain the new template part.

The karma system has been updated in the library. Download here.

Now for they way the new adding to the template is. Remove all the template edits you had before.

In the mini-profile template add this where you want the give/take buttons to be.

Place this where ever you want the karma number to be.

<span class="userKarmaNumber$[user.id]"></span>

And that's all you have to add. I hope that makes it easier and less complicated.

Let me know what you guys thinks. And as always, you find any issues report them to me.

This is not working for some reason. I'm having the following problems on my forum:

* Karma number and buttons refuse to appear, regardless of whether I make them text or a picture. (Yes, I've modified the mini-profile template in the new way it needs to be modified.)
* The new profile tab appears, but doesn't actually work; I'm taken back to the Summary.

Previous version was working perfectly.

Do I actually need to delete the old key to get this thing working properly?
