It wasnt be being rude or anything. But without being able to look at your forum I really can not help you. I cant just magically know whats wrong without looking at your forum. I'm sorry.

Yes, I did have the plug-in enabled and installed and have been using it since back in the spring but it just suddenly quit showing the symbols and kp in the mini-profile. 

However, a couple of days ago, it came back, same as always - no rhyme or reason but we're very glad.,

An analogy to this would be calling up a car mechanic and saying "My car makes funny noises. I cant really describe them to you. What is wrong with my car?" and the mechanic asks "Can you bring the car in so I can look it over?" and you reply "No, Im sorry I cant bring my car in because its a private car and no one else is allowed to see it but me and a few friends. so can you tell me what is wrong with it?"

if you want help with the plugin, you are going to need to make concessions. either open up the board, or let shorty create a new account and you inform your members he is just there to run diagnostics on the karma code. if the code gets fixed, you can always delete the account.

Do you have the plugin installed? If so, then you will have to go to your Admin Panel > Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile. And then place the code that I gave in the instructions after <div class="$[miniprofile_class]"> and before the last </div>.

Just found your Karma plugin. Thanks for sharing it! I really liked it in V4, and was missing it when I upgraded.

I had posted yesterday here about the plug in but my comment is gone !!!

I have been trying everything to get this to work, with no luck. I can see in members profile karma 0. but there are no buttons or anything anywhere to award karma point...like the smite button we had before.

Any help would be great as I know my members would like to have this feature back in the forum.

yes I placed them in the layout template/mini profile at the bottom before the last </div>

I had my mods register on the test forum so I can use them to test this. I am sure it's got to be something simple I am overlooking. I have nearly every page of this thread.

I appreciate any help you can give me. Once I get this working then I can add it to my actual forum. If you need to register/log in on the test forum, not a problem as I believe I opened it just in case you needed to.

I have disabled and then enabled the plug in and also added it to the top of the list of plug ins. Should I completely delete only the plug in and re install it ??

All set, you are now a member. Don't mind the mess, I use this forum to test things before it goes live on my MSC forum.

I've tried various things but still can't see the karma buttons in profiles and also no tab in member profile !
