I'll play with it and see if I can figure it out, it seems feasible to me. Will post and let you know!

Question for you, Shorty. In the plugin settings, when it talks about karma rank it says posting rank and when it says karma count it says post count (in the help boxes). Is this intentional? Isn't karma count different from post count?

Yup! Adding a simple if statement works, like
{if $[user.group.id] == "6"} <center><span class="karmarank$[user.id]"></span> <br> [<span class="userKarmaNumber$[user.id]"></span>]<br> <span class="karmabuttons"></span></center>{/if}
for anyone else interested =) I haven't tested it extensively but it's effectively only showing up for group ID 6, so all looks good ^^

Is it? Because if the code doesnt find the html it should add it itself.

My layout templates are so heavily modified, it might just not be adding in by default for that reason.. Just to be safe, though, I'll add an {else} with a display none.
{if $[user.group.id] == "6"} <span class="karmarank$[user.id]"></span> <br> <span class="userKarmaNumber$[user.id]"></span><br> <span class="karmabuttons"></span> {else} <span style="display: none;" class="karmarank$[user.id]"></span> <span style="display: none;" class="userKarmaNumber$[user.id]"></span> <span style="display: none;" class="karmabuttons"></span>{/if}
Question: for these lovely karma ranks, if I have -50 as the karma count, would someone with -51 have that rank still or what would happen to them? I understand the positive ones perfectly but the negative ones have me a touch confused how they'd be computed if someone had a lower negative number than you have in your settings.

It will give them the lowest rank.

Ohkay final thing and then the plugin will be entirely set up for me, right now I have how often you can give karma as once a week (10080 minutes). When I attempt to give karma when I'm maxed out, it says I can give/take karma again at 5:18pm. Seeing as they actually can't give karma again for 7 days, I think it will cause confusion. Is there any way to make this more accurate? I don't even really need it to say when they can give karma next, if an option to remove the time is easier than changing it to accommodate days/weeks.

I was happy to see a Plug-In for the Karma system, and installing it seemed to be simple enough (which was really good since I got a bit lost with the instructions...). BUT, now that I have it installed, the "Exalt" function doesn't work, which is a bit of a bummer. There is no space between the words "exalt" and "smite" but smite is in blue and is clickable, while "exalt" is in black and is NOT clickable. In other words, I can give as many "minus" points as I want to but no "plus" points. Not exactly what I had hoped for....
Is there an easy fix for this?
