There appears to be an issue with the Super User Keys this and other forum plugins use to store data.

See Brian Ordonez's post in this thread(which I will for convenience quote below).

Proboards has acknowledged there's a problem with super keys. They imply that our data is still there, just not being read correctly. They are working on it.

Sorry folks, but it looks like I spoke too soon. The Karma plugin is working for me, but it does not work for all of my members, including one of my moderators. Thank you.

Oh goodness. I think I've messed up. And I would be posting this and running out of the house so not being able to talk about this now.

I just got a message left from the other day, that my members were having trouble with the karma as well. Turned out the karma numbers were gone, then they came back for most of my members.

Well, I just looked a couple of minutes ago and all sort of looked fine except ONE member only had 2 points. The count should have had been somewhere in the triple or quadruple digits. Who knows how high by now? So, I just copied a close member's count and threw it in there, which I knew was wrong.

So, is there a way to find out a log of these things? I did take a look at the security log. I remember in the old days we used to could tell that way, but I know that's not allowed anymore.... what about at times when there's a glitch like this?

I guess I'm asking if it's possible for the karma points to be occasionally saved as a safety or security measure? At least something I can look at to see if someone's been tampering or if it's really a glitch of some sort that I can fix. If it's a person I need to tend to, then I know what direction to go toward. None of my active members deserve to lose all of their karma points and be left with only two. It's been years since I've had a trouble maker on my site, and she did poke her head in the other day. Still, I don't think she did this from reading this threads recent posts.

Is there a way to remove the colon that comes after the Karma title? I'm using images in place of text. Shorty

Try a CSS rule that targets the span that contains the karma number to make it a font color of transparent or a font size zero or anything else along those lines that effectively hides the text but keep the images:

Example:
span[class^="userKarmaNumber"] {

   color: transparent;

}

It works (of course it works) but it hides the Karma number altogether. I just want the colon out of my life. Thanks for helping Chris!

I misunderstood, I was under the impression you were using images for everything else and wanted the text removed. If you haven't converted the numbers to images then that too has a class of "karma" that can be targeted to lend color even though the parent is colorless. A forum url would of course help prevent further misunderstanding and also help in determining a proper solution if you are zigging while everyone else is zagging.

thank you for this awesome plugin, it run in my forum perfectly. anyway can I can ask if I can change karma rank into images instead of text?

if not can I ask for the counter variable. I'll set images my own if its applicable in the form code.
