thcri Do you know which members specifically are getting the random karma count? As I just tried raising karma on like 3 or 4 profiles and it worked flawlessly.Also to make it 15 seconds you could try inputting .25 in the karma time input.

It seems to work fine as people are using it.   It counts them fine but if a person leaves or logs out and comes back a day later it is off.   Is there a way or is a log created someplace that tells who is giving Karma to who?

Example my own ID as the admininstrator or murph I had 127 karma points this morning.  I was in the site fairly early this morning and then left again for a while,  when I came back I was at 132 and no one had been in the site.  We have it set up so only members can contribute so no guests would have been able to do it.

There is not a log. And never will be. That would eat up way too much key data. And you only jumped up 5 numbers. So I would have to say that someone is giving you karma. And the reason I say that is because there is absolutely nothing in the code that would raise it by a random amount when you log off. The only possible thing that could happen(that i know of) with the count is when giving it instead of adding the number, it just adds 1 to the end of it, which isn't likely at all.

suggestion: I agree with the "no log" thing, but maybe have it store the LAST person to change someone's karma, as well as the date/time. if feeling industrious, have it maybe store the last 5.

Hi sortyverrett94, I tried to up load it and received an error.

"One or more keys (shorty_karma_plugin) are currently in use by other plugins."

The previous plugin is deactivated.

if anything, it would provide evidence of the mysterious value changes changes they are seeing. if the name/date/time stays the same but the value changes then something else is affecting the karma storage.

You have to delete the old version of the plugin.

Yeah, but that update will have to wait a few weeks. I have finals next, and my week is consisting of studying, and I guess, I'm going to try getting all my plugins to the plugin library.
