Your forum's banner needs to be set as the logo for this to work. Right now you have it set as the banner, which makes it the background image for your welcome table. Upload it as the logo instead in Themes > Theme Manager > Images. Im working on a new theme (testing2) that I added the code to that didn't work, didn't want to mess with things and disturb the members incase i would screw up. I now added it to the theme that is active on the board and it did resize the image but only to the left not to the right. Can you link me to the forum where you're making these changes and tell me which theme you're making them on?

First theme i added it to was the Testing2 theme which was the one i posted about in the first post i made here. After your answer (wasn't sure if you could see the Testing2 theme since it is restricted to staff only) I added it to the main theme which is set as default on the board IRON V2. In Testing2 nothing at all happend with the banner its the same as it was before the code and IRON V2 got aligned to the left but not to the right leaving a gap there.

Testing2 is working fine for me on Firefox, although the margin needs to be set to -3px to properly align with the navigation menu. IRON V2 just needs the banner center aligned via Themes > Colors & Styles. You'll need to change Text Align in Header (Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Text. The banner will only resize up until its maximum width. It can't exceed its own dimensions. The code is meant to shrink your banner if the forum becomes smaller than the banner width so the full banner still displays across the entire header for people on smaller resolutions.

Tyvm for your help Brian and sorry for wasting your time I just noticed that it aint anything wrong with the code at all it is Photobuckets resizeing funktion thats screwing with me and doesn't do as it should and therefor the pic is too small to fit in. I was sure i had the correct PX width and all that because i used a windows pixel ruler to messure the nav tree and set the pic to have those numbers too and thought the code didn't work. Will use another way to alter the pics width instead and just let photobucket be the host for em.. Again Ty for your patience and for trying to help solve this, will stand in a corner hitting myself with a fryingpan for a while now.

You still have the banner as a background image to your banner area. In Themes > Colors & Theme Creator, remove the image URL from the Banner Image field.

Seems like your forum's width is set to be rather high, roughly 1300px wide. Where as your banner is only 943px wide. Go to Admin > Themes > Advances Styles & Colors > Width > Set it to 943px Hit save, and that should sort that out.

Hi, kzweyr. Can you provide a link to the forum in question? I can sort out the banner issue from your images, but I don't see the participated button anywhere there so I'm not sure what to do about that. Anyways, for the banner issue, add this to the bottom of your style sheet in Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet: Now go to Themes > Theme Manager and click on the Images tab. Change the image for Logo to your banner image. Go back to the Settings tab and change Forum Title to Display Logo. Finally, go to Themes > Colors & Theme Creator and remove your logo from the Banner Image field and save. Your banner should now resize with the forum. Fantastic, Brian. This will fix a problem I have when I place a border around the forum!

I know, I needed to make the forum wider, but I thought the banner would adjust to it like it originally did when it wasn't as a logo, but a banner in admin. If it was the default (one of them) banners you're on about, they are made to fit. Even setting yours to repeat horizontally wouldn't fix, because it'd be very obvious that it is repeating. The only other solution, would be to redo the banner, making it wider.

Well it worked for my other forum, so not sure why it's not working for this one. The banner only scales up to 100% of the image's width, after which it will stop scaling. Trust me when I say that a banner stretched beyond its original proportions looks terrible.
